Long story short the dealer messed up my email address so I got no email. A few moments ago I used Ford Chat and asked their CSR to verify my order. She wanted my order # and the dealer's sales code. I have the first but not the second. She said no problem, just tell me the dealer and their address. She looked it up and confirmed my Maverick is in the system and ordered yesterday.

Those of you a bit nervous over no email try this. It worked for me. I trust my dealer but nothing wrong with double checking. :LOL:

Last year when I placed the order, my salesman never put my e-mail into the system when ordering. He mentioned someone about Ford bombarding your e-mail. I didn’t think anything of it but received no communications from Ford because of this. He said the exact same thing this year and I said it’s not a bother so he put it in. I received a confirmation before I left the dealership and was also sent a preview for my order from Ford.

A perfect example of the total lies dealership will use. I got a total of 6 emails about my Maverick from Ford.

I tried to use chat and all it gave me was 2 options. How to use Sync and warranty recall info. Is there another Ford website for this? I also called Ford cs and said they were closed.

You pick either. There is no dedicated "I want to harass you about an open order" option. Haha.

Yes, it opened on 11:00AM EST. I was 6 in line took about 10 minutes or so.

I tried to use chat and all it gave me was 2 options. How to use Sync and warranty recall info. Is there another Ford website for this? I also called Ford cs and said they were closed.
Yep, me too. I picked warranty recall and she answered my questions. No problemo.

Thanks. I wondered if my dealer chose the "don't email" option when they submitted the order. They told me they would email the VIN once it is generated. I'll try to use chat later.

No it is Future Ford in Roseville. Second time I'm getting no email and that's making me crazy! and I have checked and asked etc. Last time the misspelled my email and only after fixing it 7 months later I got my confirmation for 2022. Now again the same thing was at the dealership on Friday morning and got everything done for my DORA but no email since. Sales person told me he submitted later and asked me to check email but nothing.....

That is true. But if I got the email updates I would not feel compelled to do this.

Once your order is placed in the system and the system accepts the order, and the dealers places YOUR email in the system you will get the email
