So ACC is getting even more expensive? Since now there's yet another package to order, in addition to Lux package, in addition to Lariat?

sounds like it...So ACC is getting even more expensive? Since now there's yet another package to order, in addition to Lux package, in addition to Lariat?
Well, Ford IS upfront in saying they're making changes to deal with parts constraints. If someone's gonna order something constrained, and have it sit on Ford's order books for God knows how long, Ford's gonna make you pay more for it. They'd much rather you just do without, let them build/send you a good-enough truck.sounds like it...
I think if they removed it from FordPass, people would riot. Has happened with other "software" based options from other automakers that they tried to either remove or start charging a monthly fee to use.Any idea what the removal of remote start means? Like it won’t be on the key fob? Or it won’t work at all even through FordPass?
It's pretty much how they did the BS in year two. Broke apart a few packages but it ended up costing more to get everything. So, basically, for a 2023 XLT with the Lux pkg, you’ll be paying more money for MSRP than a ‘22 model, and won’t have any bed liner, whether it be spray in or drop in, at all, and no bed rails. They will be added options, which cost more money. Oh brother!! So much for ordering an XLT with the Lux pkg!!
I guess that makes sense. They had 2 different key fobs for the XLT before - one with a remote start button and one without. Guess that’s how it will be for Lariat now as well.I think if they removed it from FordPass, people would riot. Has happened with other "software" based options from other automakers that they tried to either remove or start charging a monthly fee to use.
I read it as they are removing the hard button on the key fob for remote start. Making it optional instead of standard.
How? We don’t even know the prices. They could’ve just as easily seperated ACC and the other safety features from lariat LUX while lowering lariat LUX package price slightly.sounds like it...
If you didnt get a remote start package in my22 could you still use ford pass to remote start?I guess that makes sense. They had 2 different key fobs for the XLT before - one with a remote start button and one without. Guess that’s how it will be for Lariat now as well.
In way this should break up the lux orders up . I see lot less people ordering the lux if your above statement is trueDammit...if anything, the XLT LUX $2,500 option should be much less without the drop/spray liner and tie-down rails. If it still costs above $1,725.71 — I'll drop it off the '23 order.
Yes. Even the base XL can be remote started from ford pass.If you didnt get a remote start package in my22 could you still use ford pass to remote start?
It's a bit confusing, but there's Co-Pilot360 which is a base set of features. Then there are CP360 Assist and CP360 Assist+ packages, depending on the vehicle model and features included.I definitely read this as there is a CP360 package for all trims, and an exclusive CP360 Assist available only on the Lariat Lux.
As others have mentioned, this is referring to remote start on the key fob. That feature requires a different fob but also the long range antenna setup etc because remote start on the fob works farther than your typical door unlock/lock fob. Meaning depending on where you're parked, you can be upstairs in your office, look out the window, and start your vehicle.Any idea what the removal of remote start means? Like it won’t be on the key fob? Or it won’t work at all even through FordPass?
