Look Guv I am not arguing with a fan boy. We know you have ford sighs on your wall. Those things you list is issue and has nothing to do with cutting edge technology. The fact is ford is copying decades old technology and what I was commenting on. You went off on some rant about who knows what. Smoke a joint man and chill.

First off, learn to write and spell, that's very important if your going to be a keyboard ninja. 2nd, I've had MOPARS, Fords, a Subaru, Toyotas, Nissans and more than a few Pontiacs so maybe I'm not quite the Fan Boy you were hoping for.....
Some of those things I listed were supposed to be "cutting edge technology" when introduced.
Others, were problems and flaws by other brands, no manufacture is immune to.
Oh, and when I was a little boy in England, in the 60's, our milkman drove an electric van, very popular back in the day.

Here is an example of the downfall of Jalopnik... They used to be pretty good... folks left and the remaining crew seem to be lost and clueless. They ask for comments from readers and then create articles. Here is an example... about "weird things heard at car shows." https://jalopnik.com/here-are-the-strangest-things-you-ve-heard-at-a-car-sho-1849153401 The best part is the reporter (who basically just copies comments and adds pictures) adds a comment of his own. The moral of the story is... If you are going to tout yourself as an expert... you should know what you are talking about. It is kinda awesome that the reporter is making fun of someone miss identifying a part with a comment the shows the reporter doesn't know how the part works.

In the six months I owned a 2021 Toyota Venza, it had 3 recalls. 2 they had no solution for yet.

And just publicly announced that there is no market for EV's. Toyota says there's no EV demand – maybe try selling one the wheels stay on? | Electrek

I don't know what to say about Toyota. They keep dragging their feet on EV's, posting a lot of FUD and even trying hard to get politicians to back off on any EV incentives. The consistent theme is "the world is not ready for EV's, hybrids are the answer". So does that mean "Toyota isn't ready or consumers are not ready?" Do they really mean that or is it just FUD to delay everyone else until Toyota has a lock on EV tech?

Where did you hear they can't fix them? They've offered to buy them back, or give you $5,000 and repair the cars.

Also there are only 258 cars affected.

It's a non-issue.

It’s a non issue?! 258 cars are ALL the cars they have built. Subaru won’t even deliver the Soltera to the dealers because they don’t know how to fix them. Toyota does not have a fix yet, this is why I said they don’t know how to fix them. Because they don’t know how to.

Subaru is returning deposits to customers because they might get the car this year, maybe next year or maybe not at all. It IS a real issue.

I didn't mean it wasn't a real issue. I meant that it is a very small number of cars and Toyota has been very generous with their options. I see that as a good thing, not a negative thing.
