A quick search suggests nobody is really doing this on hybrids. My guess would be due to hybrids having notoriously weak CV axles, particularly early models. Not sure if Ford has changed the suspension on the hybrids. There just aren't good options for lifting a hybrid without spending a bunch...

Pardon my ignorance, but is there a difference in base (non-FX4, Tremor, etc.) AWD systems between hybrid and gas Mavericks? Am I to assume the AWD system in my '22 XL EB would perform like the "old" Maverick in the video?
I had a gas smell when I first got my '22. I ended up removing my underside shield and have no issues now. You may want to add some holes in your shield. Ford had a TSB about this back in '22. But it was for fuel smell. I've not read anyone having an oil smell.
No need to upgrade your master cylinder. Ceramic pads are very durable and create less brake dust but can be noisy. You may want to use a quality semi-metallic pad. You will have more brake dust but better bite with less noise. For rotors, you could utilize drilled or slotted or a combination...

In my opinion, the weak link in the Maverick's towing capability is the Intercooler. It is simply too small. I replaced mine with Buschur's within the first few hundred miles after I purchased my truck. I also upgraded my pads and rotors.
