While the several apologies from Granger are appreciated, having the problem resolved at the beginning would have been better. Instead Im left worse off and not satisfied at the end of the deal, with an unwanted option installed and me still on the hook for the price of the hood deflector.
So you got the vehicle below invoice, an extra $750 off at delivery and you're NOT satisfied with the end of the deal because of a small mixup with an add-on accessory? Many of us paid @ or above MSRP for ours, so I think you still came out pretty good. I also don't see what's preventing you from removing the window vents and buying/installing your own bug shield with all that extra money you saved. Sure, you might get pennies on the dollar reselling the used window vents, but it seems like the easiest solution to me.

There also has got to be a paper trail where this mistake originated; is it something you overlooked and Granger then submitted the order with the wrong accessory? Or did Ford send the wrong accessory and dealer installed anyway? Something isn't adding up; what accessory was on the order form that you signed off on than Granger would have submitted? I can't foresee a dealer intentionally submitting an order that is different from what you would have signed off on. Regardless, seems like a pretty minor detail be unsatisfied over.

Look on the bright side. You paid under MSRP and are driving your truck. Anytime you want to trade it for my imaginary truck, LMK and we can meet up and make the swap.

Some people wanted to know my overall experience. I stated what I was happy with and what I wasnt happy about. I really dont care if you havent read all the posts about this from the beginning, and Ive also stated what I need to do about it, and I called it not the worst problem. And not my fault you didnt seek out the best deal for yourself, so not sure what that has to do with my situation.

@Hanksmydog don't worry, I ran into the same issue when I didn't give Long McArthur a rave review because it was not truly an A+ experience. You should feel welcome to share your experience and your opinion. Thank you for doing so. Not every single person will have the same experience, even at the same dealer - and not all of us have the same perspective on what is and is not acceptable.

Thank you for that. I like the way you put it, not truly an A+ experience.

Yep, I'm thinking something about not looking a gift horse in the mouth. But that's just me I suppose 🤣🤣🤣

I suppose that would be the case if someone gifted you a maverick, if they did, congrats to you😉

There are Ford shills and the opposite spectrum there are people that will complain about every damn thing.

I dunno but $3000 off MSRP and an additional $750 off that's gift horse type stuff to me in this type of buying environment

If you aren't scheduled at this point, does that mean you're getting a 23?

What is the general thought Granger will offer for hybrids in 2023? Any discounts at all?
