I meant which of 8 gears ahead. There are some possible settings using FORSCAN to display that. I will try.
Let us know what you find. I have often wanted to know which gear I am in when I am off-road

My F-150 has that. It's nice to know what gear you are in. Don't think the Maverick has that.

I’d like to know also. Do any of the tuners show that?

In for this. It's frustrating not knowing what gear it's in.

I doubt the Maverick has the capability to display it.

The gear display can be turned on through tuning with an accessport. I have an explorer cluster in mine but I know the base and Lariat clusters can show the gear when manually shifting after adding paddle shifters, so they should be able to show the gear all the time.

I have not found a way to add gear display only using Forscan codings. Yeah if you add a steering wheel with paddle shifters and make the necessary forscan changes, you can display the gear you are in on the instrument cluster. The Cobb Accessport can also display what gear you are in. You can use OBD fusion and a OBD reader to display it on your radio screen as well.

Would be nice to see what gear you are in.
Better if you have paddle shifters.
Don't see it happening from Ford.

Drove a Honda Aspencade that told me what gear I was in
Love it.

The Lobo has the gear display & paddles.

When in Manual Mode using the paddles - gear is always displayed.

If in Automatic Mode - the gear will briefly show if you shift with a paddle.

Just fyi. Why the Lobo is such a low volume EB is beyond me. I bought it for the lowest Maverick tailgate, but having the Ford “Select Shift” was a must have too. I think most Fords have “Select Shift” - except the Maverick & the base Mustang Ecoboost (which is a major complaint).
