Although I rarely speed enough that I'd get a ticket I run an R7 and ALP jammers, I have the radar detector on a generic blendmount type mount under my mirror and used a tap to get power from the camera in the box behind the mirror.

Mines a Lariat, that made a bunch of issues with getting the parking lights/DRL's to work and I still have an issue with the parking lights but I bricked my BCM when I was trying to figure it out so I just gave up. But when I get my new one's I'll let them go for pretty cheap.

Directly below where the wire harness comes through the body. But they're magnetic and that part has a pretty long wire harness so there's several places you could mount them in there.

Like I said one their Facebook post, I have nothing to do with your issue with @Panda Motorworks. Nothing said we weren't supposed to order. Even @Diode Dynamics said it wasn't an issue. But its good to see someone representing them is happy we are getting punished for supporting them.
