November Hybrid Orders United

Allocations? I thought that was a thing of the past. That Ford was going to try and build first in first out if possible with no regard to dealer allocations.

My own experience shows that FIFO is complete BS. Oct 1 XL Hybrid with zero constraints. Still a Priority 10. Based in FIFO (with dependence only on constraints), I should have had a VIN several months ago. While large dealers such as Chapman seem to have delivered 50% of thier orders and have VINs for about 75%+ (just my estimate based on watching the pod-cast and what I read here), my small-town dealer has only delivered 2 and has 2 more in buid/ship status (out of about 14 orders).

They still use allocation but they based the allocations on orders a dealer has by time. The reason we received 20 allocations last month and Granger received 50 I think was probably because we only needed that many to finish our June and July orders. We are getting 20 this month, which should get our August orders taken care of. I would venture to guess that November orders will not get scheduled in 22. Maybe some with no constraints might get lucky.

You ordered in the second to last month hybrid orders were open and you think you're comparatively far forwards in line?

No I did not Get the email/letter. Both Ford and my dealer told me I would be getting ”scheduled “ next round. Fingers crossed, but if not, we will be inline on 8/2. There are no other 42 MPG truck options out there.

Ok so maybe I should switch to a larger dealer. The dealer I ordered from is a small family owned dealer. I try to support local business when I can. But if keeps me from getting my vehicle maybe I need to switch.

I had thought you can switch dealers when putting in a 23 order. But I do see what you mean allocations still play a role. And if I switch I would be at the back of the new dealers allocations. Thanks.

Yes from what I have found you /can/ change dealers, you'll get your private offer but loose priority. From what I've been told.

I had a lariat with lux and copilot on it. Took the lux and copilot off and now I am scheduled as well. Had to see what was needed compared to wanted. Thought I wouldn’t change it but changed my mind . This order was originally not mine. I didn’t want to wait for next year and restart. I would not get the ford offer!

Yes, when compared to all other October and November orders, I am not only "far forward" in the line, I should be at the very front of the line. By my math, October 1st comes before October 2nd or November 1st ;-) Since I have zero constraints, per the wording of the communication, I should have had a VIN before any of the other October 2nd+ hybrid orders. That is not the case. There are currently at least a few October hybrids that are sitting in people''s garages right now and many more that are "built and on the truck". Ther are even a few November hybrid orders with VINs. As of 2 days ago, I still did not even have a VIN yet and was still Priority 10 (not even Priority 2). Based on the Ford communication, that should not be the case.

To put this in a DisneyLand/DisneyWorld analogy, I got in the normal line for Space Mountain without realizing their was a FastPass. The regular line did not move since there were too many people that bought FastPass so folks in the regual line started to get mad. To appease them, Disney announced "sorry, no more FastPass" but did nothing to stop the FastPass line from growing bigger. No-one ever told the minimum-wage teen-ager that controls the two lines that they were no longer supposed to allow two trains of FastPass for each train of regular line. So why shouldn't I be getting a little miffed as I continue to stand in line as I watch people who got in line way after me get on the ride (or worse yet, off the ride)? Are there folks in the rugual line in front of me? Yes. But some of them only want the front car or the back car and are willing to wait for those. I am a single rider willing to get on any car available. From my vantage point, every time there is an open, single seat, someone from the back of the FastPass line gets selected as I spend another hour at the "your anticipated wait is 30 minutes" sign. I just don't like being lied to. At this point I have spent far too much time in line to get out and there are really no rides I like better than Space Mountain so am pretty much stuck.

Ford Chat just let me know my 11/2 Hybrid Lariat Lux is now a priority 2! There is hope after all. Lets go!!!!!!

I'm in Canada and ordered a Carbonized Grey XLT Hybrid on 11/23/21 with the only option being a trailer hitch. Finally got a Window Sticker in early June and the Ford Tracking website has been showing In-Production since July 7th. Still not showing a Blend Date and the module website still shows a G status but it looks like things are finally starting to move along after hearing nothing for about 6 months. So looks like they are finally starting to produce November hybrid orders.

Once I got my VIN and my Order Number in early June, the Ford tracking website was showing a Status of Order Confirmed and I could download my Window sticker.

Finally on July 7th, it looks like the status finally changed to In Production.

Also when I downloaded the Window Sticker back in early June it was showing 1026/2313 for scheduled unit and the updated Window Sticker from July 7 shows 17/2232 scheduled unit so hopefully that means it's getting close.
