The order does not convert over, you will need to submit a new 2023 order so you will be able to order whatever you want. 2022 orders will get priority over new 2023 orders.
So we’ll have two sets of sales/order codes until the MY23 scheduling begins?

In other words, even if you change your build, your order is marked as a 2022 and will keep priority?

So if I am understanding correctly, the big day to order is now August 2. That would be for both those that want to roll over MY22 to 23, and those such as myself, ordering a MY23 for the first time. Am I correct in my thinking?

yes until Ford has documented which orders get private offers and then they will remove the 2022 orders.

Not holding your feet to the fire, but I understand this as our rebate will be based on our current order, and we can change ?

I ordered the Lariat mostly because of the push button and ACC + Lane centering. If those are offered in a stand alone package, theoretically I could change to an XL, and add those items while maintaining my rebate ?

Again, not holding what you say as gospel, just trying to figure out what I want to do come August.

I'm beginning to think that there MIGHT just be better run companies todo business with. I really wanted to have a Maverick. BUT . . . I'm 78 1/2 years old!!! Will I even live long enough, or should I just go with a Toyota or Honda?:sick:
I am 79 1/4 +10 days. If I bought something else would I live long enough to enjoy it? Right now I am enjoying purchasing my maverick and am wondering if I should have signed my order "My Name his heirs and/or assigns"???🤔

Correct, it is like a rebate and you can configure your 2023 order however you would like.

Tim,

Thanks for your commitment . . . I don't think this has been discussed and I think I know the answer so please correct me or confirm for those out there that are a little nervous about COVP. Because only FORD can bump the Priority to 02 (or lower than 10) then if you are told your Priority Code is 02 then that would verify your order is a COVP order, yes?

Hi Tim @fordvideoguy

Thanks for being so informed and sharing your knowledge.

I was just curious if you have any way of finding out if the Lariat Hybrid would be available in Canada in the 2023 year.

I have a Dec 21 hybrid XLT order in with both 360 and Lux package so I’m sure I’m being rolled over.

If I am rolled over and they do offer the Lariat in Canada is it possible to make that model change and hold my 2022 place.

Cheers

EXACTLY, they would not give it a priority 2 giving the dealer allocation to schedule that order without it having an approved order.

I looked at Rav-4 and CRV. You will have a tuff time finding one. And the used car market is outa sight. The whole car industry is f-ed up right now.

@fordvideoguy Tim, "if I understood one of the questions/comments" during your Live Facebook session the other night, the question was asked that if you removed the constrained items like Lux Pkg, CP360 etc in order to "Hopefully" get scheduled/Built, that if it did Not get built since there is no guarantee that your Private Offer for the MY23 would likely be Less since the vehicle price would be less with the items removed. I thought I understood that you were going to check on that. I apologize in advance if I misunderstood any of this, am I correct in my understanding and were you able to find out any details?

2nd question, so I had received a private offer that was going to be worth $750 but it expired like 4 months or so after I placed my MY22 order, it's not my fault that Ford didn't get it built, so will Ford take things like that into consideration in addition to the MY23 private offer?
