Ford says they are going by order date but taking into account constraints. You may wish to remove the SIB and get it done after market unless you have your heart into having the Ford wording in the bed.
They are also obviously picking higher profit margin builds over the barebones XL's and XLT's.

So, basically, 2023 will probably be dedicated to fulfilling 2022 orders, meaning anyone ordering in August or whenever they were going to open it up probably won't get theirs until 2024. On the plus side, there's also out of control inflation destroying your savings, crashing stock market in case you want to invest it, shortages all over the place even basic things like baby formula, electricity rates through the roof, gas prices insane, and high housing prices with a bubble that's probably going to burst soon leading to another depression... yay! 💃🎉🥳
Think you may be optimistic. There is no guarantees that Ford will produce the 22 orders before the 23's. Some who order 23's when the order banks open will be produced before people who wanted months. I would bet on it.

I'm probably the only one on this forum who thinks this way, but I think Ford should stop taking customer Maverick orders, period. For the 2023 model year, they should continue delivering already-ordered units to customers as 2023 vehicles, but everything not built to meet an existing order (because those orders are waiting for constrained parts) should go to dealer stock. I'm just saying they should stop digging the hole deeper and stupidly pissing off tens of thousands of people.

Restart customer orders when you can guarantee delivery in 6 weeks.

Probably correct. Constraints will not just magically disappear. They sure are not going to just stop the line waiting on parts for constrained MY22s when they have the parts for non-constrained MY23s.

May be ironic/strange but after posting this thread a few minutes ago, I got my "built, awaiting transportation" notice on my Cactus Gray Lariat with the 360 being the only constraint item. Ordered Nov 23 and built on June 23. Seven months to the day!! Looks like it may arrive while I am on my annual vacation!!!!

So, there is hope if you can wait. Some because of circumstances, perhaps can't and that is too bad.:(
Cancel your vacation or they will sell it behind your back! 😆

Was hoping to have my new truck as a birthday gift to myself.. Oh well maybe next birthday! 😂
I order the exact config on Nov 1. No batteries = no hybrids :-(

Also, I would WANT to be rolled over at this point. Next scheduling notice will have build dates at the end of August. Meaning most people won't get to drive their Maverick off their local lot until the end of October...right before they start building 2023s.

I'd be pissed to get a "new" 2022 in October 2022. I'd rather be rolled over and get a 2023 a few months later.
My name is DEEZEE and I approve of this message.

My Lariat Hybrid ordered on 9/16/2021, still no production date. First come first served? Ford lied

XLT Hybrid Lux ordered 7/21/2021. Last time I contacted Ford customer service ( first week of May) they said I’d have a production date in the next week or two. Nope! Been plenty of identical orders built in front of mine and many others. Not many accurate statements coming out of Ford these days
