So, are you saying you got no notification of a build date?
No, my build date started as May 24 and has been pushed back three times. Last one was June 22, but it went into production on June 15th and modules populated yesterday. Was expecting the build notification, just did not know when and it surprised me when I left this thread to check the order tracker and it showed built.

Here's hope for the hopeful.

I ordered an XLT, Lux, CP360 on January 27 via a fleet program. Got an email this morning that the car has arrived. I stopped by and paid for it and will go pick it up at 2 this afternoon. I didn't expect it until September or October if at all in 2022.

Was a bit awkward to find some money to pay for it, but got it worked out.

So, I suppose we'll see how the Focusamino works out. If not, it's worth gobs more than what I just paid for it.

May be ironic/strange but after posting this thread a few minutes ago, I got my "built, awaiting transportation" notice on my Cactus Gray Lariat with the 360 being the only constraint item. Ordered Nov 23 and built on June 23. Seven months to the day!! Looks like it may arrive while I am on my annual vacation!!!!

So, there is hope if you can wait. Some because of circumstances, perhaps can't and that is too bad.:(
order 11-04-21 still no news. CG-XL, full spare and hitch, sprayed in liner that's all.
thought they're going by order date now.
congrats on your Maverick.

Ford says they are going by order date but taking into account constraints. You may wish to remove the SIB and get it done after market unless you have your heart into having the Ford wording in the bed.

Also ordered XLT, Lux, CP360, in October. WTF?

FORD: "Our order bank is still very robust. We have over 300,000 orders across many of our vehicles.”

"Most shoppers are well aware of the tilted supply-demand curve affecting the automotive market, which has, in recent months, forced Ford to stop taking orders for a number of its vehicles. That includes the 2022 Ford Maverick, which saw its order banks close back in January as many orders may wind up getting pushed to the 2023 model year, too. "

Just confirming what most of us already think. Of course, no breakdown of the 300,000 orders by model. I do not think we will see these numbers because it may discourage MY23 buyers for Ford vehicles. It seems the long turnaround time from order to delivery is not about to change for a while......
This is Bullshit! Unacceptable! Ya know, some communication could have come months ago and given us a heads-up with some gentle (to the point) warnings let us prepare. But, nothing. Squat Zip. Well, I haven't heard anything but rumor about the above so I hope it isn't true and that I get my Maverick in the near future. My optimism has pretty much evaporated.

I had a build date of July 4th that has since been moved to August 15th. I don’t expect to get it tell September sometime. By that point I will have ordered a 2023. I’m joining the group selling for a profit. This was never my intention, but circumstances being what they are 🤷‍♂️
I don't blame you. I would just sell out of spite at this point if you got a Maverick so late in the year. My Maverick was shipped and its scheduled to arrive 3 weeks from now at my dealership...13 months after time of order. If I had to wait a month longer, I wouldn't even want a 2022.

Reminds me of the guy who swore up and down that First Editions would be built first.

Read recently that auto industry in USA produced 2.2 million LESS vehicles in 1st quarter 2022. Reasons given were COVID / parts shortage / shipping delays / etc.
So, Ford's 300k backlog seems in line. Wonder where demand would be for Maverick if they had been able to produce at normal capacity? You can't sell what you can't make.
Then stop taking orders indiscriminantly. It doesn’t help when Ford takes orders for Lightning, Broncos, and Mavericks knowing that it cannot fulfill them in a timely manner.

Appears to me they stopped taking orders when they reached what they thought at the time was all they could build this year. Stopped hybrid orders in November and ECO orders January 27th. How is that indiscriminate?
If they can't get parts they can't build trucks. Word I heard back in January was that the chip shortage would ease by summer 2022, didn't happen and might not see any relief until next summer.
I don't like waiting either but in my opinion its not justified to complain when completely unforeseen events disrupt things. If it was just Ford, OK I can see that but all auto makers are in the same situation.
