Yes, this works for hybrids without 360.
Thanks, I’ll go ahead and add this to my collection of parts for when mine comes.

I still can’t get cruise control to work. I also keep getting a DTC Code: B137F and my left switch is programmed to 11. The volume and cruise control will not work though. Could my switch be bad? I purchased a used steering wheel from a 2020 Ford Escape.

The likelihood of two year old switches being bad is pretty low. Is there any physical damage to them? I'm not trying to be crass but most likely it's a programming error in Forscan. What trim escape did your wheel come out of?

Here is the DTC error message Code: B137F - Steering Wheel Left Switch Pack that I’m getting. In the freeze frame #1, the thing I notice is

-ELE_PWR_STS_SCCM: error - Electric Power Status
That’s why I’m curious if something is set wrong or maybe I have a faulty left switch pack?

Did you clear the DTCs and try again? I think I had a similar message when I first tried. Try clearing the DTCs if you haven't. I think that happens when you first hook up the wheel before changing the values with forscan

Yeah, that’s true. No physical damage that I can see. I took the airbag out and examined the switch and wiring and it all seems in good shape. I unplugged it and plugged it back in. I still have the same error. The wheel came off of a 2020 Ford Escape Titanium with paddle shifters.

Hmm, so it has adaptive cruise then and the switches are different. I wonder if there are different codes for those switches? Maybe codes from a Lariat lux? Anyone else able to chime in?

Yes, I have cleared them several times. I have tried different module numbers for the left hand switch with no luck. I think this is the last issue that’s holding me up from the cruise control working. Also, the volume control doesn’t work so the whole switch pack isn’t functioning properly. It may be a programming thing as well but I have double and triple checked my inputs and they all seem correct. I’m running FORScan v2.3.47

That could be an issue. I noticed another persons pictures of the switches were different than mine so maybe that’s the issue. Here is a picture of mine.

Yeah that's what my wife has in her escape with adaptive and the left switch is different so I'm guessing that's your issue but I don't know for sure if there are different hex codes for that switch. It would make sense why you're only getting it with the left switch. I believe if I remember correctly the right is the same as the non adaptive wheel. I think tivamatis (?) Used that same wheel when he did the upgrade, I would look at some of his posts maybe since he got it to work.

I went ahead and ordered the normal switch and if I can’t figure it out, I’ll just install the other “normal switch”. But I just got to thinking, I wonder if the wiring would be different as well. Idk, but I’m going to try to figure it out and get it to work one way or the other. I couldn’t find Tivamatis but I’ll keep looking. Thanks for your help man.

No worries, that works too but I really think it's just a matter of programming for that specific switch since the other guy got it working and I seem to remember the being a difference since it had the adaptive cruise buttons.

That is an adaptive cruise control switch not a regular one. It will use a different code to make it work.
The ones used on Mavericks also have a lane centering button which that doesn't so I don't know if the code used on a Lariat will work with that switch.

There should be a code for that switch and same right hand switch used with the correct left handed cruise control switch that will make all the buttons work except for the adaptive CC button. You'll have to play around with the forscan settings in easy mode to find which one it is.

thanks for the info. Now we are getting way above my pay grade as I’m not sure I can figure out the codes from scratch but I’ll do some research and see what I can do. Thanks for your help. If anyone else knows the codes, I would appreciate having them.

Thank you Ford for leveraging cruise control to force folks to spend thousands on unwanted upgrades just for this simple option.
