Lariat 2.0 with moonroof here in Minnesota. There are times when the sky has been gray so long in this state, you need to be reminded that the sun exists. The moonrof is a mood changer in those circumstances.

No. I wouldn’t really use it. For the rare times I did I’d have to clean around the seal or closure of any debris. It’s something that could cause me issues down the road so I’d rather avoid it and the cost of paying for it.

My original build had the Moon/Sun power slider, but was on a Hybrid - My one and only change was to upgrade to the 2.0L Ecoboost and then I removed the Moon/Sun roof to keep the cost virtually the same as the original. I still kept the Rear Sliding Window as part of the package for old-fashion 460 wind venting.

Yes, I did for my XLT Lux. While I don't use it a lot, especially in the summer, it is nice to have for other times. I used the one in my X3 all the time and I even had a Fiat 500x with one and it was giant, basically the whole roof. Yes, occasionally they leak, whistle, need cleaned, recalibrated, etc... But then my grand daughter stands on the center console and pokes her head out (while in the driveway of course) and she has a blast.

Why do you ask? What difference does it make?

Roof load for one. Escape specs:
Roof load without sunroof: 100 lb.
Roof load with sunroof: 0 lb.

Yes. I'm a windows down driver during the warmer seasons, so having a moonroof is nice. Even up north the truck gets so warm inside I've popped it open already.
