I am almost 57 years old and this will be my first brand new vehicle. I ordered the Lariat package and want it loaded.

Hey just wondering what everyone ordered in trim. I paced an order for a lariat with only 4K, fx4, block heater, and a 400w outlet.

I ordered two because one build I may not get within the span of my lifetime -): I swear it was my wife's idea:

1. Lariat hybrid, oxford white, CoPilot 360, sunroof, hitch - I may get this in 2024
2. XLT 2.0EB, area 51, manual sliding rear window, hitch, 8 way power seat.

I will source the spray-in bedliner and all weather floor mats locally. I will purchase a WeatherTec pet seat protector for the rear seat so I can place my tool boxs on the seat.

Still, after placing 2 orders, my dealer assigned priority 19 to each and no amount of words could persuade him otherwise. I received a separate confirmation e-mail for each from Ford. My hope is the XLT is a simple build and it will be produced quickly. One can always hope. I am beginning to see Mavericks in the wild, maybe one every 3-4 days.

I am disappointed to read that things like the AM radio are being deleted. I use it to tune in traffic at places like the airport, and for highway and road conditions in the Eastern Sierras. I am disappointed to read Ford is only going to issue one fully funcitonal proximity keyfob that allows unlocking with the fob still in a pocket or purse.

I recall reading that Ford was going vegan and using a substitute material for the wrapped steering wheel but when building a Maverick online, the lux package refers to "leather wrapped steering wheel".

Great vehicle for the price

Lux package fills rear wheel wells blocking water / snow getting up into the rear section in addition to comfort

Tow for larger radiator and getting a transmission cooler along with more protection if rear ended

Tires bit noisy but are fantastic in snow

360 Pilot and cross traffic very helpful driving

Just love the Cactus Gray cause it hides dirt, snow, slush really well

Pretty much loaded up Lariat and picked it up last night. It was the first 2023 Lariat picked up at my dealer. So i will call myself lucky!
