I thought the numbers were 3k in September, 3k in October, 4k in November and 4k in December? So around 14k by end of year. Granted many of those would be dealer units, all of which are ecoboost, and then 65% of the rest are ecoboost. So I was guessing about 3k hybrids built by the end of the...
That is my interpretation too. Until further notice to me means it is more likely that the hybrid will not be built for MY 2022 than that it will. I think those that have a build date have a real gem on their hands.
My understanding is that a hybrid ridgeline is coming out next year. It will be more expensive undoubtably, but it will also be bigger and likely more capable
Judging by what seems to be a lack of builds announced today, I am happy that I did not remove the spray in bedliner. I Think I would have been a little bit disappointed if I had removed it and I saw that builds with it we’re scheduled next week, even if I was scheduled today
I get what you are saying, but I believe options have value, especially if you want and use them. Also, my hope is that the quality is higher than the price. just because something is inexpensive doesn’t mean it is cheap. Ford is saving in build costs by building the truck in Mexico. Perhaps...
This is exactly what my dealer told me today when I tried to remove the spray-in liner. They totally unloaded on me and said I was just being crazy. They said if Ford tells them that there is an issue with availability of the bed liner, rather than just a constraint, which can change at any...
Thanks! I knew the backseat would be a little smaller, but I don’t plan to be back there too much. Great to know about the front seat. Looks similar width to the Accord.
There has been a lot of excellent measurements being uploaded to the site recently. However, I was wondering if anybody measured the distance between the console and the door as well as the seat bottom. Seems that a lot of tall people have been sitting in the Maverick and say that it has a lot...
It is these situations were a Costco price works out. I checked on it for the Maverick, but was told it is only $300 below Msrp and from a dealer that charges a dealer fee. So for the Maverick, no real savings. On this Santa Cruz, could be a savings of $7k
I feel like the Maverick hybrid is going to be just fine. there is a lot more to it than horsepower. All of the cars that I’ve had over the last 25 years have been pretty similar in the horsepower category and weight, except one. they all drive similarly on the highway at passing speed...
You are right. I was going off the videos for the 2020 Escape Hybrid. It had an engine cover then, but all the videos on the 2021 and 2022 have no engine cover. They do seem to have the engine insulation though.
I have to do some searching on the insulation video, as I saw it on YouTube. I do see that, depending on the trim level, some of the Bronco Sports have it and some do not.
As for the engine cover, I saw on one of the posts here that the engine has the mounts on it for the cover. Honestly I...
I got that email too. It doesn’t say that it applies to the Maverick, and the new one says the Maverick is actually excluded. We shall see. Dealer told me they will give me any offers from order date through delivery date.
I called my dealer, and I missed it by 2 days. I wish I had called on Monday, I would have definitely checked it out especially since I ordered from them. I spoke to a dealer in Fort Lauderdale, pompano Ford, and they are hopeful for next week.
They have had those listed. They are inbound models I think. I called and they tried to get me to order with them. They are a good dealer, and the woman was very knowledgeable. Seems like they have a lot more orders in than my dealer. Like ten times more. I don’t know if that is a good...
