My condolences... at least they have stated they are really trying to get all the June/July/August orders scheduled ASAP. Hopefully you'll get good news soon! At least as a July order you still have a very high likelihood of getting yours, even with the Lux. Late October me with all the constrained stuff, my hope is fading...
Thanks….hope you get some good news soon. In the meantime, as our friend “Alfred N.” would say …”What?…me worry!”

Agreed. A "top-of-the-line" XLT pickup for less than $32,000, when used trucks with more than 100,000 miles are selling for more every day, is a steal.
I know it's not a steal, but what about that same truck for less than 38K? Life is a trip sometimes. I got a call today from a dealership 3 hours away. I have dibs if I want on a customer canceled Cactus Grey AWD 4K FX4 XLT Lux that's being built on 5/26. ADM of 6K over MSRP. I have 24 hours to commit and send a 1K deposit or they go down their list to the next guy. I was hoping to get some decent sleep tonight, maybe not so much now.

I feel your pain. Late June order and confirmed. Hybrid XLT, lux and floor liners. I want/need the heated items in the lux pkg. We use those up here in northern Michigan. I'm still ice fishing. I can wait, but my patience is slipping. My dealer received 2 Mavs recently, both with SIBL. they didn't have lux pkg. WTH. No emails from Ford, no info from dealer. Don't think I will see it until late summer at best. If so I will have had 2 birthdays since ordering. July 5th.
My advice (this is what i did) drop the lux and get the heating installed through dealer affiliated katzkin. My leather + heated seat package came in at 2/3 the price of the lux trim from ford. Youd just have to deal with the non heated steering wheel

Add in tax, tags, title and any doc fees and you are well over $40,000. I just couldn't justify it personally.

What‘s the hurry? $6k. Wow. Not a 356 Porsche or Ferrari GTO California.

The sticker on my maverick was around $38,500. Since I ordered it, they have increase the price almost $1500. So there are $40,000 mavericks out there without a markup.

Well, sure, but they have more features that account for the price. Not a $6K markup.

I don't think people should freak out about their LUX packages. The OP is good and something to consider. But also, the LUX constraints quoted are what they most recently reported. Current supplies/production happening now. Actually, back on the date the constraint list was published. So it's actually old data.

It's perfectly reasonable to do what @pa-outdoorsman did and extrapolate that rate for the remainder of a model year to kinda gauge a worse case scenario. But it's also true that the LUX constraint rate could improve.

To help put this in perspective, Ford has contracts for all the constrained items. They projected that they could build many more Mavericks than they have produced all model year, so far. They negotiated contracts in advance to have the items delivered to the Hermosillo factory all production year long. And suppliers have struggled to deliver parts timely. But that doesn’t alleviate the suppliers from their contractual requirements.

Some are actual part production, some are rejected parts not meeting quality standards, some are shipping/logistics problems. These suppliers are scrambling to still get parts to the factory. And Ford is keeping their pressure on them. Chips be what they be. But some or all of the other constrained parts should improve over time.

So all that being said, the low LUX production rates may significantly improve over time. So if these items are important to you, don't give up yet. I wouldn't. Because you may be part of the 13%, or that number could end up improving over time.

Sad for you lux folks but my plain Jane XLT with FX4 and full size spare is feeling really possible at this point.

Of course, my dealer having so few allocations doesn't help. I've also been pessimistic about Ford saying my 22 to 23 order will get built before any original 23 orders, including dealer stock. Are Lux packages going to magically not be constrained for 23 production? Seems unlikely as @fordvideoguy said last week that some constraint items are getting worse, not better.
somebody posted that Ford is abandoning the dealer allocation model for a while and just going with prioritizing earliest orders first

This is a misunderstanding. They're merely changing how they give the allocations so that the early orders are prioritized. They're still distributing the builds via allocations.
