I have Lariat with Lux package ordered in early November. My dealer keeps saying I will get it as a 22 in 2022. I'll go over and talk to my salesman in a couple of days and see if he feels that is still true. I really am TRYING to wait it out. With the way things are going I might be giving extra thanks on Thanksgiving for my truck coming in.

Don't waste your time talking to the salesman, he really has no idea. Call or chat with Ford customer service, once a week or so, to check on the status of your order.

I've ordered a pretty stripped XL but it does have the CP-360 option (no Lux package). Since that seems like a really good safety option, I would really hate to drop it. Other stuff like a SIBL, tonneau cover, etc. can be added later but I'm not guessing the CP-360 falls into that category. Fortunately, my '03 Sport Trac just keeps on truckin' so I don't need the Maverick urgently. Fingers crossed.

I would think you know more than your salesman does at this point. Won’t make a difference

Im really surprised they even offered lux packages on these types of trucks. I mean its a cheap small truck. People get luxury items on a cheap vehicle then make videos complaining about how cheap they feel. I know they say the upfitted models make more profit, but it seems like enough people want these cheap trucks that they could make their profits in volume. Otherwise why would anyone make fleet trucks?

I'm a 12/28/21 XLT order with lux package. Not looking too good the truck will be built any time soon.

I have two things on my mind right now. One, a Ridgeline RTL is going to be delivered to a local Honda dealer in about one month, and it hasn't been claimed yet. Would have most of the "luxury" stuff that would be nice to have, including moonroof. But it's about 12 to 13k more than I want to pay for a vehicle. But sure does look nice...

Two, I'm considering going to the dealer tomorrow to delete the lux package and add moonroof, DIBL, and the outlet on the rear console, and hope I'll get scheduled for production by the end of the month. Not like, I would hope it's built by the end of the month, just hope I would get a notification hey this thing will be built in May sometime.

Problem is we're down to one car now, and have been since I placed my order. It's fine for another month, but after that, schedules will change and it will make having only one vehicle much more of a nuisance. Don't think I can wait until the fall to maybe have a Maverick.

HMMMMMMMM.................

I asked @Ford 3 weeks ago, via a MTC PM channel, “is it too soon to tell if I’ll be a late ‘22 or an early ‘23?”. Figured it was worth the attempt, but wasn’t confident anything would come from it (question was asked in the flurry of No More Thursday Emails).

Got a reply, shocking, March 23, from The Ford Social Media Team (Go Team!) indicating my question had been handed off to (drum roll please…) the New Vehicle Support Team (NVST), including a case #. Yippee!

The reply also included an either/or suggestion: call the sales manager at my dealer (really?) OR call 800-334-4375, which I did.

Lovely conversation, mostly fruitless, but confirmed, again, I’m in the system. I reaffirmed that my Lariat Lux Hybrid order will remain unchanged, as there’s no interest in a watered down version.

I’m absolutely certain my case number is next up on the NVST’s list…or not.

The educational and entertainment returns from this order remains at a high level (Note to self: get more popcorn)

I'm an early November Hybrid order. Was always wondering if the dealer put in the order correctly. Kinda relieved when I got the FORD "checkin" email a few weeks back, even though it had no real details.

I want the CP360 as its a great safety feature that cannot be added after the fact...so I'm holding....plus side, software glitches etc should be worked out on late 2022 orders.

Hang in there if you have a ride till then...

My dealer has already told me that it is unlikely I will get my Lariat Lux, ordered on 1/14, as a 22 unless I drop the Lux package.
I ordered a Lariat Lux , some of the bells and whistles on Nov 1 and I call the dealer first of each month. He has no news for me. Again, No Info. Very disheartening.

I didn’t drop any packages as I wanted… what I wanted.

you just have to be patient, or switch up your order depending on needs.

getting a scheduling date for my build (lux/cp360) seemed like it wouldn’t happen, but I didn’t change my order except removing mud flaps and tonneau (accessories) to simplify the build.
That’s extwhat I dropped in February. Order dated September 18th

July hybrid xlt lux. No production date yet. Feeling like I “acquired “ it back in July and who knows when I’ll actually have it. May be the first vehicle I’ve “had” long enough to start thinking about trading it in before even taking possession. Crazy…me I mean!

A really awesome move on Ford's part would be a "lease while you wait" program for all of us Maverick wannabes. A program where Ford would let you lease any car or truck they sell, and the lease would end with no penalty when your Maverick arrived. Lots of less frustrated Maverick buyers. Lots of used car inventory for Ford a few months down the road (that's a good thing right now).

If Ford offered to temporarily put me in an Escape or Bronco Sport or Ranger while I'm waiting for my Maverick, without insane terms, and with a guaranteed exit plan - I'd remember that in a positive way for years to come.
Funny! I actually am about to go this route and when I NEED a vehicle I’m going to “lease” one of the loaner fleet rangers at my dealer (it’s actually lifted and has wheels and tires too ha) with the explicit agreement that I can turn it in as my maverick arrives.

My sales guy said he’s going to speak with the managers by the end of this week and see if they can make it happen.

Both….have checked about every two weeks for the past couple of months. Been at priority 2 for around 4 months now. Really have no expectations…just contact them for the heck of it

My condolences... at least they have stated they are really trying to get all the June/July/August orders scheduled ASAP. Hopefully you'll get good news soon! At least as a July order you still have a very high likelihood of getting yours, even with the Lux. Late October me with all the constrained stuff, my hope is fading...
