Next, I got a screen protector, not because I expect it to crack, but because it the oiliophobic coating. What's that mean? Fingerprints. The screen now rejects fingerprints.
Where did you get the screen protector from? Have you noticed if it helps with screen glare also?

I don't really notice the difference because I didn't drive around without the screen protector. As soon as the factory peel came off, I put on the protector. Here's a link:

My DIO will be a spray in liner. The accessories I'm interested in are floor liners, an engine cover and hood insulator. I'll QA whether hybrids have insulation between the door engine bay. When I look up the part at Ford it designates the insulation to a Lariat trim so my XLT might not be similarly equipped.

I’ve been rocking a convex mirror for 28yrs. Since I was 16 and found one at a flea market. I still have my original one which never went with a car I sold.

Here's the bit I used

Laid the plate out, penciled in where to drill and drilled pilot holes for all.

Plate and plugs installed.

How I ran the wires. I used a zip tie to make sure there weren't wires hanging down.

All done and working!

You can't see it because the glare, but there's a voltmeter between the USB plugs.

After I get a spray in bed liner, I'll consider adding need LED bed lights and wire them into the switch so that the switch powers the DC USBs and LEDs. 😁👍👍
I have the same set up but have not installed yet but I want to add a light as well that will run off the switch. I am trying to find a light I could install in same panel below this setup.

I don’t mind the stock radio. I used to install for a living, for about 10 years of my young adult life. I find it balanced and enough for someone like me who doesn’t crank it anymore. Also, the tailgate damper, to me is not needed. You lose a great tie down spot for sheet goods and I could close the super light tailgate with a finger.
Dampner depends on one's needs. I have a seven year old, so I'd rather have a the assist so that the tailgate isn't slamming down on someone. Also, I don't haul stuff on a regular basis, so the tie-down loss seemed like an OK trade-off. That being said, there is a member here selling replacement tie-downs that will work with the assist in place and are as good as OEM. Problem is he only sells in pairs, but many buyers are willing to sell the extra one which allowed me the opportunity to purchase the one I sacrificed. .

Thanks for giving me hope that my 240mm will fit. I thought the stock mirror was 10.5" wide and I would need to get the 270.

Very smart improvements. Can I trouble you for a link to the LED Cargo lights on the cab? Never understood how someone at Ford didn't notice the difference between the LED light inside the bed and the regular lights on the cab.
I would also like the link
