I agree, this thing isn't likely to come up in a car wash. It fits flat and smooth with the 3M tape all along its edges. Nothing really for the car wash brushes to snag on. I've had one like this on a 2014 Malibu for years and it's never had an issue in car washes.

Thank you for your input to help answer my question. I've decided to go ahead and keep the deflector.

On Monday, I stuffed 10 bags of mulch in the backseat and front passenger of a Honda accord, and ended up having 3 bags leftover. I got the "shipped" email today with an estimated delivery of April 15th-21st. I'm holding off on returning the mulch just so I can do it with my truck.

My carbon arrived last week. Love it. Worth the wait. Now my fellow travelers I need some advice on D-rings or eye bolt dimensions' for the Flex Bed.

Posted this elsewhere but I'd highly recommend these 3D printed female FITS slot adapters for the bedrails on the lux packages. I got 4 of them along with 4 FITS grocery bag hooks and they work great over having to get a cargo net or container!

Have used them a few times so far and haven’t had anything fall off while driving, even with heavy things in the bags.

Wow! You go Vongreg! I got mine back from the shop that installed my Roadmaster base plates. My wallet is much lighter after that! I added a .50 Cal Bullet for my antenna, and installed window air deflectors.

Looking good, Like that antenna. Ready to finish mine and get it behind the RV. Plenty of time for me to finish. Our next trip is a two week trip to various State Parks here in Arkansas. Just a trip to chill.
