Did it drive better than a Wrangler……yes a little. Take my thoughts on it as a grain of salt. I knew right off I would never be happy with it. In comparison on my current vehicles it drove crappy. My 2500HD Duramax is quieter to me and drives smoother. Just My opinion and that counts for nothing.
I first drove the 4 Door Sasquatch. That is the one we got out of the fastest. Noisy, drove horrible, not sure if it was the tires but a definite vibration in the steering wheel. I drove a 2 Door Black Diamond with the hard top next and it was better but it didn’t drive near as well as the...
I’ve had my Maverick about 15 months now and still happy. I tend to swap out cars every one to two years so I have been getting itchy. I thought about a Bronco before I fell into my Maverick. The local dealer had a few on his so I went and took a test drive. Didn’t last two blocks. Took it back...
No tricks, just followed the instructions and it went to work. I only left it on a few days as it told me pretty much nothing. Just wasn’t worth it IMHO.
When I had a Kia Stinger a rodent chewed one sensor. That cost $4500 as the dealer had to pull the engine to get to it. GEICO paid all but the deductible.
I ordered the tailgate assist before I received my Mav. I really like the one I have on my Super Duty. Sent it back after I got my truck. The tailgate doesn’t weigh nothing.
Bump for you. Let us know if Ford jumps up to the plate for you as buccard said they can’t release an ordered vehicle to someone else without you walking away from you. Bet when all is said and done the GM ends up looking for another job. At least if I was the owner he would be. If I was Ford I...
Not sure, I would test the unit, plug it in and if stays powered up for an hour your golden. If not it is a fifteen minute job to run a fused 12v outlet directly from the battery. I had to do that on my Miata and brake buddy. You could mount it under the back seat.
Definitely run a charge line...
Happy for you, similar to my story. My only requirement was a Hybrid at MSRP. Took me a day to find one. I ended up with a Lariat Lux which was just the icing on the cake. It took a month to get it though.
No tie in. The Invisibrake is similar to the Stay & Play which I installed. The Maverick has an electric brake booster so no vacuum lines. From the install instructions.
Note: The vacuum line is used on vehicles with a typical vacuum-assisted power brake system (Figure 13). If the vehicle is...
