You are lucky, I ordered the same in Maryland 6/10 and nothing.
Did you call the 1-800 number? You are such an early order that they may have the vin. They are not sending emails.

That is nuts. The truck cannot go into production without a vin. Keep calling Ford customer service until you get the right person to give you the vin.

Since the phone support/chats seemed to replace the emails as a way to get an update, I called today. No VIN, but agent said she could see "some activity" on my order on March 21. She had no information on what that "activity" was however.

Had not heard of that before ... perhaps a small step toward more transparency?

I'm a very patient person, usually. Sometime
Sorry, but this is total BS. I'm not going to be tracking this weekly by, first, finding out if Mavs are even being scheduled and, two, calling or chatting with Ford to find out if I've won the lottery. The dealers are pathetic with their lack of follow-up also. Once this is over, this will be the last time I deal with Ford. Now we know why they sent out the SPAM email to everyone with open orders a few days ago.........it relieves them of the "responsibility" to send out weekly updates. BS
I understand your frustration. I don't know about you, but when I ordered my truck, I didn't even know Ford emailed customers. I didn't know until I came to MTC. I'm usually too busy at work to even think about Thursday's emails or Maverick's until I'm on my drive home.

Called Ford yesterday about my Hybrid RR FE ordered in August. They had no production date or VIN. Yet, she told me there is some movement with my order. Now what does that mean?
🤷‍♀️

Isn't it strange that so many people are using the chat feature and finding that they have been scheduled, but haven't gotten any notification from Ford or their dealer. I guess I need to try that myself. My truck could be here tomorrow and I wouldn't have a clue.
At this point, I would prefer finding out tomorrow its here. If I get an email, great, but I'm not going to wonder about it all the time.

No matter how anyone wants to spin this, the Maverick roll out has been an unmitigated failure on Ford's part with seemingly most dealers complicit. All of us can easily understand and forgive the reasons for constraints, delays etc. We all know Ford would prefer to have already built all orders. The failure is in basic customer service. The number of people who "never hear from their dealer". The issues with ROVP/COVP. Tracking not working. Build dates changing. Dealers ignoring customers. Order confirmation emails never going out. Can't say I've ever felt this unappreciated as a customer by any company in my 56 years. Imagine the idea after all the garbage most of us have been through knowing that if we bail at this point the dealer will be "happy to sell our truck and make more money". All it would have taken for me to have an acceptable and positive experience would be for Ford or my dealer to simply keep me posted now and then and act for 30 seconds I mattered as a customer. Oh wait... I did get a generic FORD email about the delay, AFTER 7 MONTHS. So I take it all back.

I just chatted with the Customer Service Rep via chat. Nothing on my end as expected with such a late order date and with several options constrained.

I have five months remaining on the lease of my 2019 Ranger. Debating whether I should sell it to the dealer now and capture the positive equity, keep the lease and extend it if necessary, or just buy it out and trade it for the Maverick when it arrives.

If I get pushed to 2023 model, I will likely be switching to a Hybrid model which may cause further delays. End rant.

Have a good weekend folks.
I bought my leased Escape.

Well, after seeing everyone here say they contacted customer support and got some answers I thought I would try my luck. My order is under review and has moved to a priority 2. I also got a call from my dealer...after I sent a real passive aggressive email to the general dealership email and she stated that from the look of things she thinks I should get scheduled in the next few weeks. So things are looking up.

Did you try calling instead as they have access to the same information?
No, I was on conference calls (for work) all afternoon. I'll try calling Monday morning altho I'm sure it's still not moved from "We have your order".

This thread is dying embers anyway.....
I have been browsing Rangers a tiny bit. I have heard a full size F150 hybrid can get 30 mpg's.
Decisions decisions..........nah........just cannot let go of the Maverick😍
If it's any comfort at all (maybe in retrospect), we got our Maverick hybrid after 9 months and 5 days of waiting*, and it turned out to truly be worth waiting for. The readout info it gives you shows how much your engine is using electric and how much using gas, and our mpg has been 44.5 and as much as 66. It's comfy, quiet and nicely laid out. The design itself is cohesive and impressive. Hang in there if you can. I know it's like a pregnancy with a 7 month labor transition (the time before delivery), but you will love it if you ever get it. All good luck and blessings. 🍀

*Note that I still come by on Thursdays to watch the thread and cheer on those who got scheduled. Sucks that they aren't even bothering to send emails anymore. Sure, why not make it more ambiguous and confusing with more effort needed from the customer? 🙄 That which doesn't kill us makes us stronger...?
