I just got the message "All Ford Chat staff are assisting customers at this time, please try again later". Apparently we are blowing up their system. Maybe that will incentivize them to fix their email system....
Or .......... its easier to bounce back the chat request than to fix email ;) While I did receive a VIN from the chat and a supposed week for production - until the truck ACTUALLY goes into production as the chat said actually being built the week of 05/09/22 for me is a guess. :)

Sorry, but this is total BS. I'm not going to be tracking this weekly by, first, finding out if Mavs are even being scheduled and, two, calling or chatting with Ford to find out if I've won the lottery. The dealers are pathetic with their lack of follow-up also. Once this is over, this will be the last time I deal with Ford. Now we know why they sent out the SPAM email to everyone with open orders a few days ago.........it relieves them of the "responsibility" to send out weekly updates. BS

You are right, this is total BS.
Call your dealer now and cancel that order.
All stress related to Ford and Maverick will be gone.
Go to another car maker and order something that you can get right now that will satisfy your driving needs.
No more Ford
No more Maverick
No more BS.

Called Ford yesterday about my Hybrid RR FE ordered in August. They had no production date or VIN. Yet, she told me there is some movement with my order. Now what does that mean?

It means it has moved further back in line as they schedule later orders before yours. 😂

We aren't sure if that is the case. I saw a post about their email system being messed up. Members are calling Customer Service to get information and finding out their trucks have been scheduled for 5/2 or 5/9.

Looks like we all have to check with Ford Customer Service now. I confirmed over chat that I have a VIN and a scheduled date of May 2. Received no email...no call from dealership.

Same here, called Ford CS yesterday morning, surprised to hear that I had a VIN assigned & a build date week of May 9th. Still no e-mail from Ford confirming. Lariat Hybrid, Rapid Red, Lux Pkg, CoPilot 360 & First Edition.

Your post was probably sarcastic, but all this BS every week further reassures my decision to jump ship a few weeks back and ditch my order...

I have no horse left in this race but it still ticks me off every time I come around the forum and see what a mess everything still is. Hope it works out for the best for everyone...

Contacted my dealership this morning and my 11/2 order is unscheduled but it looks like Ford moved it to priority 2 so I'll definitely be holding my breath the next few scheduling weeks!
Not to burst your bubble, but I've been priority 2 since late October... with a June order.

I work in IT, an email system being down for a full week would be a major problem that would be devastating for business. With a multi-billion dollar corporation there is no way they wouldn't have a back up email server or five. I call shenanigans on this.
