Apple CarPlay won't come on. Plugging in, using USB cable. But there is no power to the dash usb port, nor to the usb-c port either. iPhone and CarPlay works just fine in my other car. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Almost sounds like they shipped out without the chip to make it work or the didn't install the fuse. It should be light up blue at night is it not?Apple CarPlay won't come on. I like it. I don't need streaming music. Don't need a chip planted in my neck, either.Take that touchscreen out, toss it in the dumpster, pop in a cd player and escape the phone while driving. Good to go![]()

this is exactly what my dealer i T-person did at my dealership she could not get it to rec,car play with a off brand cable she went back into the dealership and got a apple cable and "BOOM" it all worked.I had the exact same issues in my 18' Fiesta ST. For some reason the car did not like a specific (cheap) replacement cable. I grabbed the cable that came with the phone and boom, fixed. I have also had issues when my sync was out of date. If I remember correctly, the Maverick is running the older sync. Not sure if that's it but it wouldn't surprise me.
