DiveBombDom has this issue as well and has been keeping us updated but it appears that they fixed his wiring harness for now. My problem is still unknown and it is going on 2 weeks that my Mav has been at the dealer with no updates. We have had similar symptoms with our trucks.I have read through this entire thread today, and I too want to commend you for your patience. I think I would have been ready to have Ford simply give me back my money and go buy another Honda Fit or something. Already wishing we hadn't sold ours one week before our Maverick was due to arrive and days before we learned it's actually on chip hold for three months. I hope so much that the Maverick will be as good as our Ranger was. But now I'm having doubts.
It is good that Ford is trying to make it right for you. Thank you for keeping us updated. I like the crowd-sourcing aspect of MTC. And you're helping solve this for anyone else who has the same issue.
Can you say something more about your build. Hybrid XLT. Any packages such as LUX or 360 Copilot? Thanks!
I have no idea if the techs at my dealership are actively diagnosing the car and trying to figure out the issue or if it’s just sitting at the dealer until a more experienced mechanic is able to come and inspect it. My service advisor that has been keeping me updated has been on vacation for the last week and I haven’t bothered calling and asking someone else for updates but if I don’t hear anything by the end of the day on Monday, I will call Tuesday and ask.
