I just picked mine up today and the only issue I have is the damn rearview mirror is so small. Everything else seems great so far.

Maybe having cruise control on the left, my last vehicle was on the right so it might just be getting used to where the buttons are so I dont have to look down at it.

Ive not even seen one in person yet but Im strongly considering one. I drive a 94 2.3 reg cab 2wd ranger now. Im going for the 2.0 awd with tow pkg. not a fan of it being a crew cab only, Id rather have a reg cab & get a longer bed. Id rather have a gearshift lever than a knob too. I dont know if its going to have the auto stop/restart. Hope not. On paper it looks like it can do as much or more than my 94 “lima” 2.3 and we will need another vehicle in the next couple of years.

Super minor nitpick, but why does the hyrbrid's trip computer show "all electric" on the total trip average MPG when you start the truck? First, it makes no sense because the miles haven't been all electric. Second, it sucks when I refill and forget to note the truck's computer MPG calculation to compare to my manual calculation.

Need something to close the opening in the wheel well on the rear driver side. Had my taillight off to install bed lights and it was packed with road debris. Probably not an issue down south, but up here in the northern climates it could be an issue if not maintained with our heavily salted roads. Luckily, Ford did provide access in the truck bed to get a hose in there.

Well about the only things that are a bit of a nuisance is not being able to put in ECO drive mode as the default driving option. And that if I turn off heater and car, when I turn back on I have to set the positions again for the airflow...leg and face.
Other than than i really don't have any complaints. It's been 100% solid so far.

Hmmm...Since retaining the "last setting" for drive mode, temperature controls and similar thing would require some sort of memory chip and chips are in short supply could it be Ford decided not to include these memory functions as a way to use fewer chips? Just speculating, but we all agree that having to reset things each time we restart the truck is a PITA. Is there another reason they'd do it this way?

Not having a blonde super sexy attractive female included with every sale.... but then again as the saying goes.... "some one, some where thinks she's a bit--". So on second thoughts... Maverick is just fine as ordered!

because they've done it this way for a long while.
You can go see the complaints from F150 owners and the aftermarket accessories to remember modes being sold.

Would have to agree with the lack of cruise control on the XL, in fact when my daughter drove it she was absolutely amazed - she said I didn't know they made a vehicle without cruise control - LOL fortunately I found the Maverick club link describing the swap steering wheel procedure for a 2020 escape steering wheel which will Mount right up with both the cruise control and the heatied steering wheel I've already called the local salvage yard and have it on the Hot list sent the link to my mechanic he says he can do it. Thank God it's pre-wired. Other than that I find very little not to like about the Maverick. The dial shifter is a little annoying but I'm sure I will get used to it

First gripe, mine is not built…or scheduled to be built, and I ordered it 7 months ago. Second, use the remote start and the cat destroys itself. I am paying for that…my dealer is adding an ADM….
They are so hosed. This truck is going back every time it so much as hiccups.

After my first long trip in mine, the biggest minor gripe is my wife's coat she uses as a blanket while on a trip kept blocking my cup holder. Kind of wish they just centered the two holders instead of putting them on the passenger side.

Lack of memory seat control buttons like on the Escape. Wife never puts the seat back after she gets out so it is almost impossible for me to get in. Once I do finally get in, all of the mirrors and seat position have to be readjusted.

Not sure if you've discovered this yet (I just recently did), but the rearview mirror can be adjusted up/down. Mine was able to go up about an inch from where it was when the truck was delivered, and it helps a bit with the issues of the low mirror (front visibility/rearview angle).
