Only thing is... they appear to have replaced my SIBL with a hard drop in, which I am not happy about. I get the SIBL is problematic and creating shortages, but my DORA clearly shows SIBL. Is this something I can hash out with my dealer upon delivery?

Wow, my dealer said my first edition was viewed AGAIN and not selected AGAIN. What , Ford. So much for the rumor they’re going to build first editions in a single run… and I’m not convinced they’ll deliver all first editions in 2022 - unless, of course, what they meant to say was that they will produce all first editions in 2022 THAT THEY CAN and then transfer the remaining orders to 2023 (obviously not first editions).

Yep, one foot out the door… and apparently there is a process for canceling orders directly with Ford, so the build doesn’t go through at all - at least according to Ford customer service this morning.

I'm not even mad anymore, just heart broken. Part of me wants to hold out because this is the perfect vehicle for me. And part of me just wants to purge the parts I have purchased already and say f it.

Its been 230 days. I'm not sure how much hope that I have left.

This process is really confusing, I ordered from same dealer as you, with multiple constraints, 3 days after you, and got scheduled in late December.

Must be the lux package .
Anyway, hang in there, you'll get there.

Still confusing to see same dealer, same truck but the later order being scheduled first.

Sorry, Craig - it’s all so very random and frustrating, for sure. Hopefully your email will be next week. Seems Chapman still has unassigned allocations.
