Yeah I have looked at them pretty closely, my buddy has one on his Tacoma. Love the idea but probably not for me, on the Mav anyway. I foresee needing to remove the cover fairly often for taller loads and that's a PITA with the DB. On a long bed you can get away with leaving a panel out...
A real simple upgrade would be a plywood sheet on the wheel wells and flex bed allowing you to have a fully flat platform for the air mattress to lay on without squeezing you into the wheel wells.
I've put a little thought into a bed camping rig based on that idea, with a folding plywood...
Make that two of us interested in the Elevate system...
What I really want is some way to use a hard tonneau cover as a secondary loading platform. Most of the hard covers have 300+ lbs of load rating, but the Mav has no way to tie gear down on top of the bed cover since there are no bed stakes...

Only thing is... they appear to have replaced my SIBL with a hard drop in, which I am not happy about. I get the SIBL is problematic and...
Whoa this is really cool. But can you add some more detail... How does it secure to the bed? Are those aluminum angle brackets clamped to the bed rails? Does the panel mount to the brackets permanently?
Have you thought about cutting the panel and adding hinges for a folding design?
All's well that ends well. Sorry for the major headaches you went through, but you ended up with an absolute beauty of a truck. It's a real looker, congrats.
Love your updates. Makes me think hard about my commitment to the hybrid wait. If an EB without insane dealer markup pops up nearby I might just be swayed...
I ordered the rear window for the same reason. I used to have a Ram 1500 and the rear pass through was definitely handy for 12' trim pieces. They're not rigid enough to hang from the tailgate more than a couple feet. I was able to put them on the front dash, through the window, then resting on...
Well don't let me give you false hope lol. I'm pretty confident about you being in Priority Code 2 status (you can ask your dealer to verify), but there's no guarantee how long it will stay in that status. Some have been that way for weeks-months.
It likely means it has reached Priority Code 02 which means it has been previewed for scheduling so no further changes. Mine is in the same spot. Decent chance you'll see a build date this Thursday, but who knows with all the delays.
