So what sensor is required for lane keeping on the XL with copilot 360? Just the camera?
Yes only the front facing camera. As an aside I just put in a new turn signal stick before and have got Lane Keep system to almost work. It works except for the driver alert system and is still throwing a few codes I need to figure out.

Need new mirrors now.

BCM - 726-04-05 CB28 8140 8872
Activates the cruise control functionality
I was comparing data from a couple of bare-bones HYBRID XLTs (no copilot360 or other extra features), and I found that they are set to 726-04-05 CB28 8141 8873, not 726-04-05 CB28 8140 8872.

So, I went looking at bare-bones ECOBOOST XLTs (no copilot360 or other extra features), and I found that they have 726-04-05 CB28 8140 8872.

Thus, it would appear that hybrids and ecoboosts may use different codes to activate cruise control. I believe that @Tyvemattis has an ecoboost, so it makes sense that he used the 8872 code to activate cruise control. But I wonder what the difference is between the two codes. I should probably just give the 8873 a try, but I haven't gotten around to installing the new buttons, etc. yet. Anyone have any thoughts?

I forget what we used when we were figuring out the hybrid, but I believe I used a different bcm from a hybrid, could be wrong. Try both, it won't hurt anything

I'd love to, but I haven't started the process yet. Maybe someone else with a hybrid can give it a shot and report back?

I (hybrid XL, copilot360) used the BCM numbers found by @Tyvemattis and posted at the beginning of this thread (as well as the other thread) and it works fine. I am pretty sure there are a fair number of other hybrid owners who have found the same.

On the hybrid, would the numbers be different between those with the CoPilot 360 and those without the CoPilot 360?

Possibly. I didn't load any CoPilot360 as-built data to compare.

Yes, I've taken note that it worked. But is it optimal?

For that code CB28 8140 88XX the last 2 digits are a checksum and nothing more. 72 is the correct last 2 digits. Thankfully when you enter in a code and the checksum portion of the code is wrong forscan will correct them. There are other correct codes that open up more features for that BCM register

This code for example is what activates the adaptive on top of regular cruise control in the BCM and used on Lariat trims w/ACC gas and hybrid engines.
B828 8140 9067

If you don't have the correct hardware installed it will throw DTC codes throughout the system.

For the speed sensor the part number is 9E731
Right now the sensor runs about $662

There is also a mounting bracket, cover and screws that are needed to mount it. These run about $120 for all the pieces. If extra wiring is needed I do not know right now.

These parts and the switches should be all you need to enable adaptive cruise control, Lane Center. Evasive Steering and intersection warning afterwards using forscan.

Cost for all the parts about $912. Not cheap but consider it is 4k more to get this after you've already paid to trade up on the trims to a Lariat if this was the only reason you did so. I think is worth it from a cost analysis at any trim level if it can be made to work which it should be able to but that still needs to be confirmed.
Is this the right part? There are a ton out there with 9E731 in them.

Ford Motor Company thinks so if they use it on both XL and XLT models. But there is a rub here. If you have an FX4 package the difference is this and holds true for gas or hybrids. So it is only optimal if you don't have an FX4 package which rules out all XL owners doing this mod.

For FX4 packages

I'll update the main post accordingly.
