Rad! Not sure what they can do to help though😂 I put myself in this pickle, and I'll dig my way out.

Ever thought about working for Ford? They may offer you a job.

I mean, it depends, but I work at a nuclear plant and have a pretty Rad job so, unless they offered me something I couldn't resist, I'm happy where I'm at

Hmmmmm think they'll help you figure it out?
DIY doesn't mean Ford has to help, but what great PR if they did!

Ordered a 2020 Escape Titanium full digital gauge cluster and plugged it into my maverick, and it worked instantly. No need to do any programming to get it working, however, I'm getting a ton of fault codes from not having a lot of things that the top model Escape has vs my XL Maverick.

I will keep this as updated as I can, but at this moment the biggest issue I've ran into, is the gas gauge is only capable of showing half tank. I had quarter tank when I put the cluster in, and the new cluster was showing an 8th tank. When I filled the truck up, it was showing half tank, and I know it was full.

You bastard.... Beat me to it!

Some vehicle mileage can be programmed through FORScan but unsure if the escape cluster is among the clusters supported. The fuel gauge issue can likely be solved through programming.

I guess I will have to resign myself to the fact that I will not be first to the LCD cluster....

I don't expect it, like my previous comment, correcting my mileage would be neat, but I'll figure this out myself. However, if they helped me make this work, I'd stop debating getting rid of my current Tahoe for a new Tahoe or an expedition... (Ppppssst Ford)

Damn you XL buyers are cheap af but I gotta give you guys some credit. A lot of you XL owners are willing to tear right into your new Mav and do both physical modifications like this and software modifications through programs like Forscan.
Agreed. Most XL buyers seem to hate their trucks and instantly try to make it a Lariat or Titanium trim level.
I used to have a Ram Tradesman and took pride in the work-truck, no-nonsense vibe of the trim.

I have no problem with the work truck, I'm leaving my XL fender badges intact, but this is all in hopes of making paddle shifters work more than anything. I needed that M instrument panel, this was the coolest way to do so.

I wouldn't say cheap, some that know they are going to mod are just smart. If you're going to put in your own high end stereo, fancy wheels, Katzkin leather, upgraded headlights and taillights, and the like, why pay the big fee for the upgrade if they are just going to be yanked?

But since the high-end Escape partsbin seems to be able to donate so much, it makes you wonder why Ford didn't go more high end on the maxed out trim for the Maverick? Why not give the Lariat Luxury package the full digital cluster for example? Seems like a missed opportunity.
