For my XLT order i was going to order it without it but decided to get it. I occasionally do long trips to visit my kids and a couple of times I was pretty sleepy. Sometimes to the point where I had to pull over in a rest area and take a quick nap.
I went in intending to order without 360, but decided on the spot to check the box. What the hell? it can't hurt. And I do like BLIS when I get it in a rental car.

I have since changed my order to the Lariat with the first edition which comes with the 360.

The copilot wasn't worth it to me. The xl comes with enough standard copilot features.

For 500 dollars its not worth it to make me a lazy driver.

I was mainly considering it for the sliding rear window but I'm not paying nearly 700 for a window that hardly opens.
You realize the 360 package gets you power mirrors on the XL trim level right? Thats the only way to get power mirrors on the XL. That makes it completely worth the $

How often do you adjust your mirrors?

For 500 dollars I can do it the old fashion way

$500 for the added peace of mind doesn't seem too steep. Particularly when I'm dropping $28k, why skimp on $500 and lose those safety features? I went with it.

Every time my wife and I switch as drivers the mirrors and the drivers seat get changed. I don't mind adjusting the seat manually, but power mirrors are a must. Sometimes I even move the mirrors down temporarily to see curbs and such.

It is a must-have.
I see how the government may add it in a few years as mandatory equipment in all new vehicles. In particular, blind-spot monitoring and cross-traffic may be worth it by just eliminate one accident in the lifetime of 10 vehicles that installed it.
I also believe that blind spot device helps surrounding vehicles too. The orange light gives the feedback that maintaining that proximity to the vehicle is not safe. I actually wished Ford illuminated a larger area when the Blind spot is triggered.

I had a Colorado without power mirrors. It was a PITA. I worked at a dealership and every few days they washed my truck and the mirrors got moved. I had a wooden dowel with a rubber endcap that I used to keep inside to adjust the passenger side. And if you have a spouse that drives your truck from time to time and they are shorter, it can be rough. Gotta have mirror adjust. Even if you kick the seat back for a long trip etc the mirrors can be off. Or when towing. The blind spot alert is also a nice feature. If it wasnt a good package for the money people wouldnt be buying it like they are. Look at the survey here.

It sounds a lot like the gamble on buying the extended warranty.

You buy it and you may never need it

I may say the opposite with all due respect.
It is an active safety tool that is always giving you feedback always being used. It is a gable not to have it when it is available. I tried it once a newer car with it during a rental I was impressed and the following two cars needed to have it renouncing to other options.
Anyway, it is up to each person's priority.

It is easy to disable in previous generations of Ford's (just a button on your turn signal stalk) - probably can verify in the manual as well

Good news Pg 230 in the manual. It can be turned on and off.

If you're not towing, then fine. But, being able to adjust mirrors with some degree of precision is helpful when towing, backing up, etc....
