YOUR VEHICLE IS SCHEDULED FOR PRODUCTION | |
|
Should have been the very first vehicle built.Received the scheduled for production email at 12:10pm EST.
Scheduled build week is Mar 7
Build: Area 51 Maverick Lariat Hybrid - First Edition with weather mats, tonneau cover and all the works essentially.
Location: central Indiana
Original order date: June 1
There's still A LOT of people from June/July waiting to a build date. So if you ordered an Ecoboost, you may receive a build date in another month or so. IF you ordered a Hybrid, you're looking at possibly not receiving your Maverick until June-July? However, a lot is going to depend on what your dealership gets for allocations! There has been a lot of folks who've ordered in Aug/Sept/Oct that are exactly the same as orders placed in June/July yet they have gotten build dates because their dealership received allocations, whereas smaller dealerships have been over looked even with early order dates. You're best bet is talk to your salesperson to get an idea of how allocation they receive month/week that are picked for a build and then ask where you are in the list of orders from that dealership.I’m starting to wonder if something is wrong with my order from 11/15. Can anyone please answer if everyone gets a confirmation of order email from Ford?
I have paperwork signed and a $500 deposit at the dealership.
I may just be freaking out that orders after me are getting scheduled. It’s like being picked last for kickball![]()
Have you called Ford Central? The day I did, back in October, I waited about 40 minutes, then was patched through to a different line and waited another 20 minutes, then a really nice person came on the phone and I made sure to be gracious...and the next thing I knew she said, "Oh, well, you're all set because you've been moved up." At the end of the conversation, I asked what she'd meant by that and she said, "I don't know what you're talking about." Called my dealer to ask what my priority code was and he was surprised to tell me it was a 2. (Dealers can only set it as high as 10; it takes a regional manager to set it at 2.) I got scheduled the next week.I don't know, but a lot of orders scheduled the past two weeks have been LUX packages (both lariat and XLT - eco and hybrid). How long can they keep using that excuse?? I just don't know. My dealer doesnt communicate and when I ask these things, all I get is "well, allocations don't matter, how many ahead of you don't matter, we make everyone a priority 19"....yada yada yada. I am not buying it. The system is flawed and its making me not want to buy a ford again, honestly.
I ordered a 2.0L Fwd w/o hood scoop and tow pig (does have hitch though) on 1/11/22 and got the email today for build the week of 3/7/22 so it could happen next week.I ordered mine on jan 15th, what are my odds?
velocity blue xl with the 2.0 all wheel drive. towing package, ford 360. and a hood scoop. ordered at Sam Galloway ford fort Myers fl
Yes you should get a confirmation email from Ford after the dealership enters your order. If you didn’t, they probably didn’t include your email with the order. It’s happened to many people. Have you contacted customer service to verify that your email is attached?
Thank you. I am a little surprised as I did order it through email with my salesman. However instead of freaking out that my order is somewhere in cyberspace, I will assume that they don’t have my email on file and contact customer service to add it. that gives me hope. I feel bad for the June peeps tho. i had some bad luck. i put a new engine, clutch, ac compressor evap, condenser in my truck 3 months ago and on the 12th had some idiot run through a light and t bone me. my insurance just totaled it. spent 10k on my old edge rebuilding it.I ordered a 2.0L Fwd w/o hood scoop and tow pig (does have hitch though) on 1/11/22 and got the email today for build the week of 3/7/22 so it could happen next week.
I certainly wasn't expecting the email so soon and have great sympathy with all those who ordered long before me.
I must say though I really was hoping to get the hybrid when and settled for the EcoBoost since I feared a big price increase if I waited for the 2023 model year.
Eco FWD. I was thinking about the AWD but the dealer said it might be faster with FWDHybrid FWD or Eco FWD?
Thanks for the reply. Sorry if it came off as complaining that I’ve ordered two months ago with no build date. I know others are way before me (as I know others are after me with build dates). It was more that I didn’t receive an confirmation email from Ford but I’m going to contact customer service tomorrow to make sure my email is added on the order. There's still A LOT of people from June/July waiting to a build date.
