If you can’t get the dealer to provide you with the rail car number the lights really go out on the truck after the tracker says it’s shipped. I check the pals app tracker multiple times a day, but get nothing. I assume my truck is still sitting on a train somewhere. Shipped 12/19! Estimated delivery 1/4-10. Waiting continues.

I would have got the XLT, but I'm not a fan of blue and orange, so I went for the XL. I would have upgraded the wheels if the price was right. It is rather odd not to have that choice.

8/30- Lariat/LUX/ECO/4K order- Both the dealer and Ford CS are pretty clear that the SIBL is causing the holdup in my case. Looks like months and months of more fun driving our outdated Highlander- :)

Hi all,

On Facebook I commented on one of Ford's posts asking about when my Maverick I've been waiting months and months for will receive a build date. Someone at Ford must have looked up my information based off my name because I received an email:
"Thank you for contacting Ford Motor Company regarding the all-new 2022 Maverick, that comes with LATCH (Lower Anchors and Tether Anchors for Children) is a child-safety seat installation method designed to make proper installation of a child-safety seat easier. Thank you for choosing Ford Motor Company. Congratulations on your order! We are just as excited as you are to receive your new vehicle. I see here that you would like an update on your 2022 Maverick Order.
In Order Processing
The estimate delivery date is to be determined. Your order has been entered into the Ford Ordering System. It will then be scheduled and placed in the first available production week. Once scheduled, a Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) and estimated build date will be provided.
Once you have received your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), you may also track your order using the link below."

Hopefully this means I'm getting build date the next wave.
Hate to potentially burst your bubble, but that is the standard script customer service gives out any time you check on your order, whether it be on their chat line or over the phone. Trust me.. I've heard it plenty of times.

Got my built e-mail on the 24th and my shipped e-mail today at 4:44am. They were built on the same day, yours before mine according to the sequence numbers.
looks like you also have the spray in liner, so maybe mine will be shipped soon. Thanks.

So they were able to tell you ..... nothing ...... other than "in production". Same answer I got from my early August order.

Everyday that goes by without a built confirmation makes me want to move on. My order was placed on June 19th. Blend date of 11/29. In Production date of 12/7. Nothing since. Still shows ETA of 1/12. Don't see that being a reality if it is still in Mexico...

I do not get the fascination with the standard steel wheels. I ordered my snow tires with those from Tire Rack and put hubcaps on immediately. Not my cup of coffee I guess.

I don't know when you ordered your Maverick but here is the timeline of my order:
Ordered 6/28
Scheduled for production 12/6, changed to 12/13 and then to 12/20
Blend date 12/14
Built 12/23
Shipped 12/27
ETA to dealer 1/19 to 1/25/22
Looks like our trucks are shipping together as they were both built on the 23rd and it looks like my ship status changed to shipped today. Have you contacted your dealer for the rail info? I have not.

I like the looks of the steel wheels myself, but I do like the blue interior of the XLT much more than the black of the XL, especially after seeing it in person, also going without cruise control was not an option for me. I may seek out someone on this site who is looking to sell a set of steelies in the future. But for now I will just wait for a truck like everyone else.
