That sucks for those of us who wanted to order a 2023 hybrid model. Ford initially said June. My Ranger lease ends in August. I might have to get the EB now.

That seems really late. Maybe that's the start of production? That means orders wont be delivered until well into 23.

It also means that the current 2022’s probably won’t complete delivery until we’ll into the summer, maybe right up until August. Maybe later?? No surprise really when less than 10,000 per month are being produced…….so far.

Pretty much lines up with what my dealer told me up front with my order for my EB, which is that I was probably going to be waiting about 6-8 months which lands it right around the July to September time frame of 2022

huh. Well I guess maybe they are thinking the shortages will be eased up and they will get them made in more numbers once the orders start coming in

what is source for this information? Thread title doesn't specify if this is only for hybrids- or all Mavericks. Something doesn't sound right here.

I would expect they keep with customary dates like most production models.
They start accepting orders for new MY around June or July. Production starts around mid-September, technically in full swing by October.
MY2022 was the first year of Maverick production with some bugs to be worked out. Hopefully MY2023 is much smoother in terms of actual production.
As far as their ordering and prioritization method go, I would say they need to come up with a better system. Too many people who ordered in June and July have been passed over. At some point, they need to put those orders at the top of the stack. The FE should get its own production week(s) and all FE's should have been scheduled by now. The Maverick models do not vary too much from trim to trim. They only offered one interior choice for each trim level so it should be rather streamlined. The exterior colors do get grouped together for selection purposes. Their computer selection program needs more Artificial Intelligence and less Artificial Ignorance.
To Ford's credit, they are experiencing shortages of components from multiple vendors. They have managed that to the best of their ability and it has certainly affected everyone's build date, or securing a build date. The popularity of the Maverick is greater than their current production capability, which is a good problem for them and a bad problem for us!

Right, I ordered my hybird, November 6th and was told 4-6 months. It looks like it will be closer to 10 months.

You are referring to what I said about online and knowing delivery date at order was in reference to the F150 Lightning only not the Maverick.
