My build date was 11/19 and Carfax said no safety recalls for my Maverick.

I'm supposed to be picking up my Maverick this morning but there is a stop sale recall that was just released this morning. Evidently, some Mavericks have fuel tanks that need assessment. No idea what the issue is, specifically. Maybe @fordvideoguy can chime in or someone else with access to more information....
Haven't seen anything except this for a rear seat issue:

Ford Issues Stop Sale Order On Maverick And Mustang Mach-E
22 HOURS AGOBY JAY TRAUGOTT TRUCKS / 5 COMMENTS
But it's not all bad news.
Things like this happen from time to time. It's far from the end of the world. Nevertheless, stop-sale orders are still frustrating for customers anxious to get behind the wheel of a new car. Especially two very popular new arrivals. The Maverick Truck Club forum has uncovered a document sent to Ford dealers only a couple of days ago stating there's a delivery hold for a specific batch of Maverick trucks and Mustang Mach-E SUVs.

The affected models were all built at Ford's Hermosillo plant between October 6 and 20, 2021.

Just got a call from my dealer (i'm in Canada). I was supposed to get my truck tomorrow but she said she can't deliver it because of the fuel tank recall. She didn't have a lot of info, she will call me back with more details but she said I will probably get my truck in the beginning of January. (The truck arrived at the dealership last friday). My built date was 11/20.
I too could not take delivery Saturday due to the stop sell recall on fuel tanks. However, my dealer called me this morning and said I'm good to go. Picking it up this afternoon.

Can't help wondering why the hell we're trusting CarFax for info on recalls, Using VIN it is pretty quick to check on line for OFFICIAL alerts and recalls
When did Car FAX become a trusted source for our trucks? What's next, them selling us warranties!

Personally I didn't ask for Carfax to be provided for me and I am suspicious of "Freebies" like this.
They don't have a dog in this fight and I'm not sure why or how they even got my info. My experience is there are No. Free. Lunches..... What is Car fax getting out of this??

Whew! Glad I insisted on picking up yesterday and not today!
I noticed in your signature line you mentioned that you removed the tonneau cover so it would get scheduled. I thought the tonneau cover was installed at the dealership. Can you provide more detail?

I’m seeing nothing as far as recalls on nhtsa website, wonder if these are just internal recalls that Ford is issuing

How would a spray in bedliner affect the fuel tank other than they sprayed it in the tank too?
