Has anyone heard from Ford Directly or Dealer Ford Rep or Their Dealer when Ford will release the Recall information/parts to repair these recalls?

21C35 - Fuel Tank Damage
21C36 - Rear Seat Belt Anchor Thread

My dealer has stated that Ford has not provided any ETA to them on when Ford will ship parts or issue recall directions/instructions on repair procedures.

My truck has been sitting since November under these recalls and it's now going on three months, so this timeframe seems ample to issue repairs and get these vehicles fixed and released to their owners.

If it's anything like my F-150 transmission fix, they won't send parts till all back orders from manufacturers are fulfilled to new builds. Once they are satisfied there they will allocate parts for recalls and other fixes.

hang tight. Could be in for the long haul. My truck has been sitting at ford since November waiting on a part for transmission. Dealer told me they won't get part till orders are fulfilled. They're more concerned with getting builds built and sold before worrying about cars they already sold.

I had the same question as you. I have the recall 21C36 and my last delivery estimate sent to me on 1/04 says 2/1-2/7 delivery which I won't bank on.

If you have your truck DON'T take it to the dealer if called about a recall. Do your homework. What is the recall, is there a work around, does the dealer HAVE the part necessary? Obviously if you smell fuel or see a leak you have to do the safe thing.

Both have repair instructions from Ford but speed of parts if needed could be awhile. For the tank recall they have to drop the tank if any drill marks or holes are present then the tank must be replaced if not its clear. For seat belt anchors they have to drill and insert a thread repair kit.
