That’s fine, it’s a truck, I can touch it up right before I’ll trade it in, before warranties and gap insurance ends at five years.

My 2024 Lariat, 18 months and 20,000 miles later with the same mud flaps never scratched at all.
I wonder if it's only an issue if they get loose over time? A few people on here have fallen victim, but maybe checking on it once in a while might prevent it....

Getting my Mud Flaps and Roll up tonneau cover installed at Ford at the moment. The advantage letting Ford install those two toys is they are covered under my extended warranty.
Cost to install both is a C-note,
Well worth it to me.
I’ll add pictures,

Meantime check dis out:

The sickness of dressing the Tremor up is only fading slowly. I'm welding up thickwall square tubing with a winch plate on it, and 2" ball after the fairlead. So I'll have a winch riding on my receiver most of the time, but in a odd chance ill pull the locking hitch pin and remove the assembly. With the 2" ball I'll still have the ability to pull around my trailer.

Not much new stuff on our Tremor, just a few highly desired items, Hard folding bed cover BakFlip MX4, window visors from Clim Art, WolfBox 850 mirror camera, pedal covers, and a bed spider.

I considered the cover plate around my hitch receiver.
I’ll pass,
In my not so humble opinion the cover would take away a little of the Tremor’s ruggedness…
As a a Tremor owner that sometimes takes his Tremor in places that Tremors probably shouldn't go, I agree. You should put something back there a little more rugged. It has a horrible departure angle and that hitch is always going to be the first thing to bottom out. If you put a hitch with a ball back there, the hitch ball will be the first thing to bottom out instead of plastic bumper cover or whatever a piece of plastic you put in the hitch receiver. If you never plan on towing anything with it, then at least get one of those goofy hook things, anything rugged that will bottom out before the plastic bumper cover does.

Who would ever take their Tremor offroad, over rough terrain?
Mine spends 30% of its time driving my acreage and pastures as well as over a fair amount of rough country roads. So far it has performed wonderfully. Came very close to sticking it in areas that were challenging...but it has held it's own. If you are dragging...add a lift kit.

The Goodyear Wrangler Territory RT in size 235/65R17 is a rugged all-terrain tire built for light trucks and crossovers. Priced between $131 to $191 per tire, it provides a highly capable, lightweight off-road option with an aggressive aesthetic without severely compromising on-road comfort or fuel economy. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Key Performance Highlights
    • Off-Road Capability: Features large, interwoven tread blocks and deep, zig-zag grooves that easily clear mud, slush, and loose dirt. The angled tread blocks and robust shoulders provide solid puncture resistance and grip on unpaved roads. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
    • On-Road Comfort: Unlike many aggressive mud-terrain or severe all-terrain tires, the Territory RTutilizes computer-optimized pitch sequencing to minimize highway noise. [1, 2]
    • Weight Profile: At roughly 29.5 pounds, this tire is one of the lighter rugged-terrain options in the 235/65R17 category, ensuring that crossover steering and fuel economy aren't drastically penalized. [1, 2]
    • Winter & Wet Traction: It features multi-angle sipes that give it reliable grip in rain and moderate snow, though it does not carry the Severe Snow Rating (Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake)

  • These stock tires are great so far.

Aw but the other 30% ,,

My Tremor spends 90% of Its time going back and forth on the Four Lane. Yep that's what we call it.

But to get down and back up to my Cabin, Its only a quarter mile of steep lose gravel, Georgia clay and road bond #57.
My 2024 Lariat made it easy except for those crazy rainy weeks where my roads get muddy and rutty.
This 2026 Tremor takes it without even trying.
I'm Good.

Except for Bambi committing suicide on my 2024 cream puff Lariat,

Killing her instantly, the truck, screw the stupid deer.

I still have my Ford bed extender from my 2024. I put it in the basement 18 months ago as soon as I drove my Lariat home. Not once did I ever use it.

BUT !

Now with my Ford Tonneau I can see a use for it.
Oh stupid too busy me didn’t take the mounts of the side of the bed.

Hitting The Ford parts counter today for the mount kit.
Saw it for $20 on Amazon but it was aftermarket.
I’m betting $30 at Ford, whatcha thank ?

Next cool Unexplainable Tremor thing that just don’t make sense.

There is a down hill run on my way home, I’m going down it about four times a week.

In my 2024 Eco AWD Lariat with its front air dam and it’s super smooth quiet all season tires. I can consistently top the hill at 65 mph
Then cut the cruise control and coast down that hill to where it goes level.
I consistently hit 71 mph before the level ground starts to slow me down.

In my 2026 Tremor with it’s stock chunky Goodyear A/T’s and NO air dam just a high nose for better approach angles.

I top that hill at 65 mph and finish it at 73 mph.

What gives ?
