The Roof can absolutely be replaced. It's routinely done.Hood and side panels can be replaced, but that roof is nasty. I'd say it could go either way with the insurance company.
I was out of town. The first pictures were from the wife. Second were when I got home and able to get more pics. I will keep you all updated on the final results when the adjuster can make it out. Let’s add a poll for fun and see what happens!I think he had to post them after the fact though, he was out of town.
Yeah….keep us posted for sure. I’m really curious to see the outcome of this.I was out of town. The first pictures were from the wife. Second were when I got home and able to get more pics. Will do! I am curious as well. I keep going back and forth on it. I was optimistic at first but seeing that almost every panel will need paint makes me think it will push it past the threshold.Yeah….keep us posted for sure. I’m really curious to see the outcome of this.
If totaled, I would buy it back, fix the glass and drive it. No more worrying about parking lot dings.Well, I am on a work trip and the wife just called that Springfield mo just got baseball size hail. She went to the airport to check on my truck and it doesn’t look good. I am not an insurance adjuster but thinking it might be totaled. If it is, I will be posting up my custom black rhinos for trade before it goes to insurance. Sad day but everyone is safe and vehicles can be replaced.

I am the guy that always parks at the back of the lot to avoid them!If totaled, I would buy it back, fix the glass and drive it. No more worrying about parking lot dings.
I am guessing that you haven't heard anything yet as far as estimates?I am the guy that always parks at the back of the lot to avoid them!….not to mention the roof would rust out pretty quick with all the paint missing.
Local body shops are 3 weeks out for an estimate. Our adjuster is coming by May 11th…so the Mav is sitting in the garage waiting her fate.I am guessing that you haven't heard anything yet as far as estimates?
Gee.....I wonder why?Local body shops are 3 weeks out for an estimate. Our adjuster is coming by May 11th…so the Mav is sitting in the garage waiting her fate.
Let's not rush to that conclusion. My man that is most definitely not totaled.

Good deal! Sucks to go through it. After seeing that PDR wasn't really a fix all, and the roof would have to be skinned if not replaced.... you're better off not having a newish Maverick with body filler all over it. Plus the incident depreciation alone would have killed your future trade/Sell.Well, after I took the quote from the adjuster to my local body shop they laughed. Just eyeballing it, he said it was totaled. The adjusters quote had 45 hours of labor and at a rate of 69.00 an hour. Body shop said they are off $5,000 for labor alone. When they looked at how bad the roof was especially on the seams, he said they could potentially fix it but it wouldn’t be worth it. They are sending a new quote back to the insurance and it will be totaled. Luckily, I found the same truck in Arkansas and it is getting delivered tomorrow. I guess the new lights will go on it.
