That does suck. Even if it gets repaired, I’d want to get rid of it pretty quickly once fixed. You’ll always be waiting for the paint to fail and start rusting. Hard to enjoy the truck after that I’m sure. Good luck

Got the truck home today and was able to look over it more. Still waiting on the adjuster but every panel has damage minus the tail gate and front bumper. Also almost every panel has paint flaking as well. I was surprised how bad the roof was. Around the 3rd brake light is a really big dent and the whole roof is peeling.

No expert on the procedure but based on your picture paintless dent repair is not an option. Paint has been compromised so a paint job would need done. The roof looks awful. I wish you luck with it but based on personal experience with hail get estimates from body shops not just the insurance adjuster.

Holy 💩

*I'm not a hail expert in the hail industry.🧐
It was clear to me from the pictures you posted, that you had baseball size hail hit your truck. Your windshield was a great example too.
I know it sound terrible to hope your truck is totaled. If that's what would make you feel whole. Then I hope you get a new truck.

P.S. I could tell from the first pictures you posted. Paintless dent repair was not going to be possible for 100% of your Maverick. I vote totaled.
As far as the above video I posted #16
The OP lives in Springfield MO.
The video was shot in Springfield MO on the same day as the OP's
Maverick was damaged. The person recording probably wasn't standing next to the OP's truck.

Ouch - Yep, with damage that severe, a lot of those impacts are far beyond PDR repairs.
Still, once the glass and rips in the panels are addressed, the rest is cosmetic.
It takes so little to total a car these days, that's very likely what insurance will do, but your truck will be out on the road again, perhaps not with you driving it..

Man, after seeing the close-ups now, I agree that it's beyond PDR for most of it. Plenty of panels replaced and a paint job. Plus a new windshield which alone is about a $900 job. Still probably isn't totaled, but your insurance company will be writing a hefty check.

Hood and side panels can be replaced, but that roof is nasty. I'd say it could go either way with the insurance company.

I'm curious about the vehicles sitting next to yours in initial pictures.
Didn't appear like damaged windshields on the similar sloped ones.
But I couldn't really make out the dings they must have had - if they were actually there during the storm.
I know I heard reports of plenty of windshields broken though.
People driving and hearing the creaks from it, ugh.

The initial photos my wife took when she made it up to the airport to check on the truck. I was on a work trip until this morning so the other vehicles in the original picture may or may not have been there when the storm rolled through.

Well...if you read correctly....you would know I was talking about the Missouri "video" posted...not your truck or the new pictures you posted...... after the fact. 🙄🙄🙄
I think he had to post them after the fact though, he was out of town.
