Anyone find a method to add additional reserve fuel capacity to a Maverick Tremor?? I certainly don't want to relinquish any precious bed space...?

If you have a hitch here's one option.
The Utah range extender. 😁
Use it your own risk.

Very funny...I'm considering the area under the rear seat, but prefer not having inside pass compartment. But even that would be preferred to your pic... :)

Yeah, I don't know about storing fuel in the passenger compartment.
I had a old Ford truck that had two gas tanks one of them being in the cab behind the seat back. I was not crazy about the idea but to each their own.
Similar to this Chevy.

I have a aux fuel tank from Long Range America fitted on my Jeep. Provides additional 17 gallons at the flip of a switch. 38 total gallons and does not go as far as the Maverics 16/17 gallon tank.

Where is it mounted?

I suppose one could make some kind of custom tank that fits into the spare tire spot, but of course you would need somewhere else to keep your spare.

Take it from someone who has dealt with blood clots in his legs before, with a 400+ mile range, you NEED to stop for fuel and walk around a bit.

Thank you for the picture. I appreciate it 🤝
I was hoping it wasn't in the passenger compartment.
To date, I have rolled 3 jeeps and destroyed a Suzuki Samurai.... Valuable lessons on gear, spillables and things that are harder than my head in the ride with me have been earned and learned..

With the 1400lb payload, why not bolt in a 50 gallon aux tank into the bed? Northern tool has a ton of options.

There are commercial options that can bold in with the spare tire. But they are just tanks, there is no transfer to the main tank
