The flip side if this is that head lights will not generate any head to melt ice that accumulate on them. My lariat has them and I was driving in a bad storm and had to keep pulling over to clean them off. There should be heated wires that come on when you use the heated side view mirror option.It's a good thing I converted mine to LEDs a long time ago. Yikes! Just goes to show how hot incandescent bulbs can get. Plus, everything should be LEDs at this point, especially considering the price you pay for these now!
