1. Something on the powertrain has to fail. That just isn’t that likely with a reputable stage 1 tune.

2. The OEM has to look and be able to determine that the vehicle was tuned.

3. The OEM has to prove that the tune caused the failure.

I assume so. The post I replied to was suggesting an aftermarket tune and the stand-alone intercooler the thread is about is somehow riskier.

Typically, anything from Ford Performance that they sell as "warranty friendly" needs to be installed by an authorized Ford Performance installer or dealer. Take that as you will.

It does not!

I hope they made it so you dn't have to chop the bumper or remove parts for it to fit.
But $1,000 (had to type it out to see the full impact) is a little steep.
