Thanks all!

Hope it helps others with their install. It wasn't too difficult, just a good amount of cutting.

Main difference over the Tremor @Barksdale123 , were the recovery hooks (Tremor/FX only), plastic I left behind, and it looked like the plastic box around my intercooler was different.
It could be a re-design after the 22', but I don't think I could have re-attached the hose the the new inter-cooler and had to do the hose clamps. Pictures below show the sides of the air box go to the frame. I may have just left a lot more of it, but the's not much space to re-attach the hose. I definitely saw the notch to release the clip, but not sure how to fit it back on

Update- The intercooler worked great!

I did some high elevation and temps with a heavy travel trailer (Rpod 180- 3,800 GVWR). It was was 3 people, their stuff, and a weeks worth of food to Crater Lake. We were in some of the worst towing conditions for multiple hours.

I used the OBDLink MX+ scanner to monitor the temps and the CVF intercooler was amazing. It may even have saved the truck from damage!
Even in the worst of it, (low speeds for hours, climbing steep grades, 5,000 Ft elevation, 110 F temperatures) the intake rarely went over 135 F!
Definitely helped keep the power in the truck available if/when I needed it.

Doing it again,
- I'd open up more of the bumper to let air flow on idle (maybe cut slits so it can rise from the bottom)
- Put in some wire mesh/screen over the whole bumper opening for bugs (there were a TON of bugs behind the old intercooler)
- Likely drill/cut holes for water drainage. Not sure if it's needed at this point

IAT is measured just past the air box. you want charge temp. 👍
Cheers! Thank you
@colinl, any idea the exact name of the PID and/or what bank or network it's in?

I wasn't able to find charge or boost temp, and only saw boost temp voltage, meaning there likely is a gauge, but not sure what I'm missing

Here the options of network A

the main benefit is reduced charge air temp which makes a big difference in sustained boost situations, such as driving on a track, driving fast on a curvy road like Deal's Gap, driving in the mountains, or towing.

how much reduced? that should be on CVF's site, they asked for it to be logged with their first round of test installers. OP here should have an idea also.

little difference in non-sustained, short-term boost situations. since stock piping is retained, I wouldn't expect significant differences other than charge temp.
Building on this awesome breakdown - scroll down on the product page to see the charge air temp. benefits in real-world driving situations during apples-to-apples testing. This is our unit doing what it's advertised to do with the data out there for all to review:

CVF Performance Intercooler (2022-2024 2.0L/2.5L Ford Maverick; 2020-2 – CV Fabrication (CVF)

Piping changes aren't going to do much on any EcoBoost application on the OEM turbos. It will give you a bit more airflow into/out of the unit, but the intercooler does the heavy lifting.

Minor detail on your page linked above. You put the 2.5L in there as to what this intercooler fits. You should remove that so some rando with a hybrid doesn't buy it on accident, lol.

Intake Air Temp 2 in F is what you want to monitor.

Perfect! That's what I'm tracking already, thanks for the help.

I would definitely get a tune, the transmission part alone is worth it and obviously if you see value in an intercooler you would see value in more engine performance.

I am not sure what you get with SCT or Livernois for realtime monitoring, I assume their devices do it. My Cobb Tuning Accessport definitely does it and it's a much older device - been available for like a decade or so (obviously pre-dating the Maverick tunes). You wouldn't need the OBD2 gauge device you're using now.

A lot of pictures with circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back of each one.

reminds me of a song story on the dr’s show!

Man, wow. Drop me a PM - we'll definitely compensate you for taking the time to type this up!
Quick question. Is this able to be installed on the vehicles with adaptive cruise control? I’d like to install this intercooler and do a tune on my 2024 Maverick Lariat but I’m not sure it will work with the adaptive cruise control piece.

Will work without issue!
