That post sticker is good to use too - states right there Mfg date.

Obviously the VIN too for exactness.

This is a VERY specific recall on part installed on 6,897 Mavericks assembled 2025-08-07 and 2025-10-05

The best way to determine if your truck is included here is to log into your Ford account and/or search on the VIN. This recall has been VIN searchable since Dec 19.

My dealer said the month date year is under the MSRP on your window sticker.

it was hiding in plain sight.

Mine not under recall. Built 03/04 per msrp or 03/24 per tag on door pillar. Presume door pillar is most accurate..

Check app, it shows up there if you are affected like I am. They are not ready yet, they need to come up with abnewncovwr for the instrument panel tonm prevent detachment upon air bag deployment.

It appears Ford discovered this defect during testing - and issued a recall & fix procedure before any real world accidents occurred. I guess that’s a good thing.

Ford's changed up their QA process lately. They've begun using an AI system in factories to catch defects in real time. It's called Mobile Artificial Intelligence Vision System. It seems pretty cool in theory.

Then again, Ford's been under third-party scrutiny for their timeliness and compliance with recalls since late 2024.
