Since Ford is bumping hp/torque north of 300 I'd assume they're confident in the tranny being able to handle it. Makes you wonder if they've already tweaked a few things for the 2025+ to be able to handle far more than it's previous rating. Kind of a confidence boost to the strength and longevity of the 8-speed after seeing today's news.

Neither the Jeep Gladiator or Honda Ridgeline have 300hp engines.

The Colorado & Canyon Turbo 4 cylinder does 310hp. Ranger does 316hp with the V6.

These are midsize trucks btw. The 300T Maverick is a beast in its class!

We'll see how the prices shake out but I may have to partake. I actually really like the lariat 19s so I'd probably skip the wheels and tires package.

It will probably never reach production,
It doesn't sound like they're even considering it.

These are Ford Performance parts--aftermarket from Ford itself.

That also doesn't mean that they don't void your ford warranty! Their superchargers for the 5L F-150, for example, come with a new 3/36 warranty that replaces the regular factory warranty.

This also means, though, that you can pick & choose which parts of this you want.

Hopefully the turbo, intercooler, tune option be available separately for the Lobo.
Or the 2025 XLT AWD like I have with the 2.0 EB!! I wouldn't want any of the other things and kind of like the quiet exhaust although I don't have the 4K Tow Package.

If I understood correctly, he suspension upgrades are basically just OEM Lobo parts and they're not expensive. Isn't the rear sway bar + end links available for $90 somewhere (Steeda maybe)?
You're probably right, when I first read about this it was a separate article online that made this sound like a Ford package not like an RTR type package, however in reading the write up here and there it sounded like there were better shocks and springs on it, more than what the lobo has?

it'll be a package similar to this, that any dealer can add: (guessing 8-10k for the package.)

2024-2025 F-150 FP700S BLACK (REGULAR CAB)| Part Details for M-F150-FPS1 | Ford Performance Parts

Yeah I realized after posting that this was describing an RTR or Roush type upgrade and not a production trim like the original article I saw on this, I think the turbo is cool but unnecessary, I'm still interested in the suspension package if it's truly a strut and spring replacement
