Your Mav looks great!

I"m going to keep looking I don't want to have the Hyperblinking issue with the Diod Dynamics as it would set off my ADD :)
Thank you!! It’s been a fun journey in the almost 2 years of ownership

Fair enough, I believe you or your dealership can disable the Hyperflash through forscan and it’ll go back to normal no issues whatsoever.

Let me know how the morimoto bulbs work if they fit! Hopefully they’re bright enough and don’t Hyperflash as well

These look great, for sure, but you got rid of the LED signature lighting from the stock Lobo tails by going to these fully halogen units.

Your stock tails certainly had this LED bar on the perimeter and in the middle of the light, which the fully halogen units do not have.

Upper right corner shows the LED bars that your stock tails have. These are on with the bulbs unless you modify the bulbs to only illuminate at full power, like many of us have done.

I wish the seller would make the LED signature lighting version with these gray/clear lens.

You are absolutely correct. When I pulled out the stock taillights I noticed the 4th plug which was an LED. Then pulling out the new taillight assemblies it did not even have a spot for that 4th light.

I was then at a "ah crap" moment deciding if I was going to send them back. Nope.. I like them to
much. :)

I saw these tail lights on Amazon and wanted them.

I started the install and quickly realized that I have all clear bulbs.

Swung buy the autoparts store and no one had red bulbs to fit. So I figured until I find some proper red bulbs I’m going paint some clear ones. Picked up some red caliper paint because of the heat resistance. I then Swung by my local Ford stealership and picked up 4 clear bulbs. I was shocked at the $19.95 cost per bulb!

Painted and installed them.

I think they work well for a temporary solution, but I really like these taillights.

Anyone have a link to red LED bulb?

Try these for $50 a pair. They have cooling fans to prevent the LED's from overheating. I had Lasfit LEDs for a couple years until they went bad and replaced them with these. Just as bright as the Lasfits. You still have to disable "Rear Stop Bulb Outage" if Recall done that causes Hyper Flash at the Cluster using Forscan.

Glad your factory bulbs fit your aftermarket taillights. These are what I got and the LED lights work with my XLT factory plug. One brake parking light blew out. Factory bulb would not plug into the socket. Had to find ones that were just glass at the end. The plastic at the bottom would not allow the bulb to fit into the socket. If I want LED ones I will have to try shaving the plastic down to possibly make them fit. I got these on Ebay from California supplier. $258 free shipping.

I bought the same lights but on Amazon. The pics on these appear orange because of the clear halogens included. Just swap them out with Red LED's and White LED's for reverse. I love them!

How do you modify the bulbs?

Looks good, gives some real Stormtrooper vibes, which is my favorite look. I gotta say though that's the first time I've ever seen caliper paint used on a bulb! Hopefully you can find some LED replacements soon.

I tried replacing 1 blown out bulb with my factory one and it would not fit in the socket. The bulbs that come with mine had no plastic base just glass with the filament wires. Did your lights come with bulbs? Did you leave them in or switch them out? If so how did you get them to fit? Mine would not push in. I did not want to break the bulb socket. My plug fit in without using the included adapter plug. Maybe Amazon ones are different than mine. Are the tabs on yours plastic or metal? Mine have plastic studs that push into the tabs.

Yes, my lights came with glass bulbs. I had to replace them with 7440/7443 LED's. You probably are trying the wrong LED's. Look at the difference between 3157 and 7440; the physical difference is noticeable.
