Nope. The only solutions that I've been able to utilize are to either leave the fob in the cab of the truck, or leave one of the doors just slightly ajar. Neither are really a great option, in my opinion.
I love the look of this, but I have the Lariat Lux, so have the radar in the grille.
Has anyone actually found a replacement grille that works with the LL? Or are we totally out of luck?
Did the exact same thing with the rear head rests. Granted, I don't often have people sitting in the back, but no one has even seemed to notice they aren't there.
I don't think I could agree with this more. Mine was $36k because I went with the sunroof and power slider. Still ended up costing less in 2022 dollars than my Outback in 2019 dollars when I bought that new.
OMG, thank you for posting this! I've had this happen a few times (usually when I'm on the highway, and have had the AC running for a while), and I thought I was losing my mind. It definitely kicks into another gear for a few minutes, then goes back to normal. Glad I'm not the only person who...
I think it speaks more to just how LARGE a full-size truck is, more than how "small" the Mav is. I also agree that it's perfectly sized for what I need it for. But when you do see it side-by-side with a full-size truck, it really points how absurdly large those trucks are.
Yeah, I've definitely found the mileage has gotten better over time. I'm sitting just under 10k miles since I got my truck right before Xmas, and lifetime it's sitting at 27.6mpg
The last thousand miles I've gotten 29.7. I'd say that's probably a 70/30 mix of highway/city driving.
Ordered mine June 2021, and took delivery almost exactly six months later right before Xmas. I would have gone with the Hybrid, but not being able to get it with AWD was a dealbreaker for me. I'm driving up to the Whites every weekend, and AWD is a must-have for me.
