I downsized from a 2023 Silverado LTZ. It had some nice features that I wanted to duplicate in my Maverick. The Lariat got me about 90% of the way there.

I've had my Lariat for about 4 weeks. So far, the main thing I miss most is the vented seats. Another thing I miss is the "rear seat storage". This is two storage compartments within the rear seat backs. Great for storing tiedown straps and jumper cables.

When I was shopping around for a smaller truck, I looked at several other makes and models. I compared features and prices. In the end, I felt the Maverick Lariat had the most "creature comforts" at a reasonable price point. AND it has the AWD Hybrid engine.
My 24 has rear under seat storage. I miss ac vented seats also. And heads up display & front & side cameras

Speaking only for me, not in the least. I would have trouble paying $30K plus to replace my XLT. And save the comments about "what else can you get in this price range". JMHO.

Anyone that paid more than 20k for a Maverick paid too much.
I guess the $20k crowd will never let it go. I'm surprised we still don't hold today's Ford in 2025 to the promise Henry made when he started building the Model T. Why isn't Ford still building a $575 vehicle? Damn them!

I had a custom so no fancy doodads  . When I went to look at Mavericks I was looking at xlts because I never have bought a high trim on a vehicle. But I liked the Lariat for multiple reasons and deiced it was worth the couple thousand more than the xlt with luxury and BAP.
I also went for a Lariat with the lux package, even though it came with many things I didn't need. Lariat for the push botton start, and upgraded seats, our last 5 cars all had push botton start. lux package for advanced cruise, and safery upgrades. I rather have things I don't need, the need things I don't have. Happy wife, happy life!

I thought my 2023 XLT Lariat was worth the 30k plus price and the dealer was nice enough to hide 3,995 in the purchase price as ADM (additional dealer markup) and I didn't walk away. I love my Lariat Lux and I must have gotten a good one as I have had none of the complaints many owners have has with the exception of the interior light issue.

its worth it if it includes tax tags sunroof blackout package total out the door no more than $40,000
$39,000 would be a more realistic price.

Obviously i voted Yes. i bought one and i do not regret it. i do understand that Lariat is not for everyone, for example after the test drive....i have never used the cruise control that i paid for.
Huh, 2022 was the only model year that cruise control wasn't standard across the line and it's the one thing I wish my 2022 XL had.

I’m happy with my 2025 Lariat Hybrid with 4k. Better seats than XLT was why I upgraded. And I would have preferred to pay sub-30k, but I feel it was worth it.

Correct, and thats my point, the features are all priced in. You did not get the lariat and you did not pay for the cruise control.
Meanwhile i did get the lariat and that means i paid for stuff like the cruise control and the heated steering wheel....and i have never once used them.

Better get a left over 2024MY
The LARIAT Tremor is selling in the lows 30's
Well that's good news. I have an appointment tomorrow with my Ford dealer to look at the
2024 Lariat Tremors. They have 14 on their lot and they don't seem to be selling. All of them
are listed at $37k. Guess I'll have to test my negotiating skills.

But I will also look at the 2025 Maverick Tremors and Rangers. So anything could happen!

Back in 2021, having the additional features was most definitely worth the additional money, particularly if you had a pricing plan available, along with the price-protection or private offer when rolling to 2023. (Not to mention a couple of added features in 2023, such as the built in Navigation, should there be no cell signal, or issue with the phone.)

Fast forward to 2025, and replacing my 23 Lariat w/Lux/CP360/CPAssist/Remote Start would be at the $40k mark, when my MSRP including shipping was around $34,800 before D-Plan & $2850 (or $2750) private offer......Blue was under $30k after discounts/offers, for a fully loaded Lariat (sans the sunroof). - That's with the Desert Brown seats, which I liked more than the BAP. (I'm one of the odd ones, and not a black interior person.)

Given everything has gone up, it's still a good amount of truck for the money, but not the bargain it initially was.
