Looks nice, but I’m probably going to pass. This is someone’s backed out order. Looks like a $2k pad with the dealer added options based on what that stuff costs. Not bad considering what other dealers are getting.

At least those dealer add ons are useful things lol from what ive heard 3500 isn’t a terrible markup. But for me personally… 40k is too much for a maverick lol like… thats a base Tundra haha

Add in taxes and fees and you're looking at nearly a 45k maverick out the door. Maybe it's just me but I couldn't imagine spending that kind of money for a budget vehicle like the maverick. I love mine but that's because I was under 27k out the door for an XLT. For 45k you can get a very well equipped ranger, or a lower end f150

Perhaps a Maverick is a more appropriately sized truck for someone vs. Ranger or F series.......

Same here. I wonder if my Lariat of which dealer has "no idea" when it will arrive will actually be sold to someone else willing to pay more for it.
Unfortunately, plenty of stories on this forum of sketchy dealers trying to do just that.

Anyone who has ordered a Maverick will find out how good their dealer is when it comes in!

I’m not interested anyway but I texted the salesman and asked him if that was out the door and he said to add another $899 dealer fee. Turns out it’s not such a great deal after all.

I'd take it if I were you. By the time the 2023 order book opens up you'll probably be paying $2K more right off the bat.

Options are a bit overpriced but otherwise looks like a fair deal; not a great deal but a fair one IMO, so as long as the dealer doesn’t try to tack on paint protection, VIN etching, etc.

Otherwise that truck will be sold in a day or two tops.
You're right!

Hah that's the price of my first home. I've sworn I'll never pay more for a vehicle then my first home and I'll be sticking to it. Lot of overpriced goofiness with these vehicles, I'd be passing too and at least homes don't depreciate in value!
A lot cheaper than most shacks In most of America.

Not a Hybrid, so $2K markup about right. If it was a hybrid, add another $3000.

I wouldn't be paying anything over MSRP and even that is too high now for a car or truck based on how many are now sitting on lots. If you want a new Maverick (which I think have now become overpriced) order one, wait and get thousands off the MSRP. I went by a Ford dealer in MD today off route 70 and was shocked when I saw at least a dozen new Mavericks sitting on the lot for sale. Two years ago you would never see a Maverick on a lot unless they were asking 10K over list but those days are over for all cars...including the C8 vettes and Z06s. There is nothing special about the Maverick other than it has a bed. My Lariat is nice but nowhere near as nice as some of the cheaper SUVs out there now with much more sophisticated controls and suspensions.

Also realize you're seeing more new 24's sitting on lots because they can't sell them due to the backup camera recall that there's no fix available for yet.
