You seem confused. I'm solidly Gen-X and have been writing code since I was ten years old. Some of my most tech-savvy colleagues are Gen-X.

I guess there is always some "research" headed by someone that wants to come up with a different answer to the question. The US Census Bureau defines baby boomers as those born AFTER World War II, which ended in Sept. 1945. So mid 1946-mid 1964. This is the first time I have ever seen a chart claiming the baby boom started BEFORE the war ended.

There are exceptions to every rule. But my entire high school class is in the in-between era and we all feel the same. We don't really fit in with either Gen X or Millennial.

Yeesh, feeling somewhat insulted since I've had a computer since before I was fully out of short pants, and was building them before the last of millennials were born (And online before that too). In fact I tend to find that the upper latter half of millennials cannot accurately distinguish between memory and storage and wouldn't know a root directory from a hole in the ground.

It kinda went to shit when they started trying to massage it to make over Gen Y into millennials, before that they were more exactly 20 year generations.

Younger millennial here. As an outdoorsy person with an active lifestyle, the Mav is a great fit for me. Hauls the dog, my bikes, my homebrewed beer, and anything else to wherever I need to take it!
