Good luck. The AC Module SSM update hasn't worked for many people as they are still having the deep sleep problem. Hopefully Ford is truly still working on solving deep sleep.Mine is in the shop as I type for the update. YAY....

I suggest getting the battery tested. It may be bad. In one of the vehicles we updated, the battery passed the test at the time of the update. But when the customer told us the deep sleep mode returned, we retested the battery just 2 weeks later. And if failed. We replaced the battery. Reset the battery life monitor. Three months later all is still well. Whenever we do the update, we also fully charge and test the battery. We also reset the battery life monitor. Most dealerships probably just perform the update and send you on your way.I had this done ("air conditioning control module (ACCM) software update), didn't work. Deep Sleep Mode next morning.
Thanks for all your comments. This is why I'm on the forum. To learn all I can about all things Maverick. It's a big help to us that are frustrated with lack of follow thru or knowledge regarding upgrades or continual issues. It's similar to the days of neighborhood kids working on cars. Only now it takes a software/computer specialist. Knowledge and different opinions, is always Powerful!I suggest getting the battery tested. It may be bad. You'll be filing a claim - according to many posts in many threads.2023 Hybrid Maverick Lariat
I had the battery drain issue all last winter and the winter before. After fighting with Ford (they claimed I wasn't driving the vehicle enough to charge the battery) I found a technical service bulletin SSM 53087 and asked that they follower Ford's directions. It seemed that I didn't have the issue all summer, however, it recently started up again, so back to the TSB search, finding SSM 53801. They were having difficulty updating the air conditioning control module, however after a couple of days of trying they got it and also replaced the battery sensor. Just got the truck back today, so we shall see if it's resolved. That being said, I have since learned about legal recourse that can be taken if this is not resolved, via CANADIAN MOTOR VEHICLE ARBITRATION PLAN. CAMVAP helps consumers and manufacturers resolve disputes about vehicle assembly, material defects, and how the new vehicle warranty is applied through binding arbitration. CAMVAP is free and final. And awards can include compelling the dealer to buy back the vehicle. https://www.camvap.ca/
Has anyone had the latest TSB done and found that it fixed the problem or will I be filing a claim with CAMVAP?
After my 4th battery replacement and ACCM update, my battery seems to be HOLDING state of charge, even with my short drives -- whereas before, slowly dropped SOC week after week. We will see once weather gets colder though...I only drive a mile to work and same home, maybe another mile or two at lunch, so really short drives - I think I really do need to run down the highway each weekend, would probably help my situation...(22,200 miles over 3.75 years)2023 Hybrid Maverick Lariat

Don't bother with highway - this isn't very old school alternator charging the 12V now. After my 4th battery replacement and ACCM update, my battery seems to be HOLDING state of charge, even with my short drives -- whereas before, slowly dropped SOC week after week. It takes mine 10-14 hours of driving for the 12v Battery to read 12.6 the following am.Don't bother with highway - this isn't very old school alternator charging the 12V now.
Actually many cars for many years control the alternator and it won't run higher amps @ highway, or even all the time.
But hybrid really doesn't matter - sit in your driveway with it in Ready mode, so ICE can be turned on whenever needed. When it drops to 1-2 A, it's done basically - it would take hours to charge at that rate, or the 0-1 A it'll quickly get to. So off and locked until next day so it can reset the SOC%, and give you another attempt.
Logs show exactly the same charging strategy sitting, driving slow, driving fast. Doesn't matter.
Time does.
Guess what, I picked up the truck today after 2 days of testing at the dealer. The battery SOC was at 29%, charged, used Rotunda tester, and battery test came bad. They replaced battery, with Ford BXT 99RT4-A made sure it was fully charged, monitored next day to see if any discharge is present. It passed all tests and hopefully the issue is finally resolved.I suggest getting the battery tested. It may be bad. That is the same battery as the one that went bad. The new one is the BAGM-H4 battery. When I had my second bad battery in 18 months replaces a month ago Ford wanted to put another BXT battery in my truck but I refused and demanded the AGM. Therefore Ford refused to pay. I was forced to pay out of pocket for the battery plus the dealer install. I filed a complaint with BBB Auto Line since Ford parts now shows the AGM as the stock battery for my '24 hybrid Maverick. I had to send a few pics to back up my claim but yesterday I got an email that Ford decided to settle my claim by paying in full to reimburse me the total I spent replacing with the AGM. I hope your BXT is better than the last one but I have my doubts. So far I have had NO issues with AGM!Guess what, I picked up the truck today after 2 days of testing at the dealer. Good to know info, I just checked the Ford parts site and you are correct. That is the same battery as the one that went bad. The new one is the BAGM-H4 battery. Did they replace with the BXT 99RT4-A 390CCA 24 month battery OR the BXT 99RT4-A 470CCA MAX SERIES 36 month battery?Guess what, I picked up the truck today after 2 days of testing at the dealer. They will replace with the BXT batteries until they exhaust the supplies I am sure. I did request the AGM and Ford refused to pay for it. I was tired of dealing with the issues I was having with the other batteries and decided I wanted the AGM regardless. After Ford refused to pay I then proceeded with my BBB Auto Line claim and won. Ford would never have willingly gave me the AGM replacement. Once the BXT batteries are gone every replacement will be with the AGM I am sure.Good to know info, I just checked the Ford parts site and you are correct.
I have to wonder if Ford will now always use the AGM when replacing the hybrid battery under warranty. Maybe they will at least use it if requested by the customer until they use up their inventories of the prior FLA's. We now have the info that the AGM battery is Ford's designated replacement.
I have a 470CCA replacement that was installed 7 months ago and is showing some slight power loss, but no sleep mode yet. The others lasted 6 months so we will see. Thanks for the info regarding the AGM. As I mentioned before, this whole thing is frustrating beyond belief!Did they replace with the BXT 99RT4-A 390CCA 24 month battery OR the BXT 99RT4-A 470CCA MAX SERIES 36 month battery?
Well, I still have 14 months of warranty. Hope by the time my original battery dies, I get the AGM without fuss, otherwise I will really stress that BXT in hopes of getting the AGM before my warranty is gone. They will replace with the BXT batteries until they exhaust the supplies I am sure.
